Patch 8.1 Overview

patch-8-1-tides-of-vengeance in
It has been more than 2 months since release of a new World of Warcraft expansion. We had a lot of new features added into the game in late Legion. These additions, such as heritage armor wow are continued in 8.1 patch. We will finally see our new desired factions – KulTiran Humans and Zandalari Trolls! There also a lot of changes, so let's talk about them

Heritage Armor Sets – Quick Retrospective

Wow heritage gear was introduced to players in late Legion. The way to achieve it is challenging, since it consists of two steps. First step is to unlock the allied race. There were following allied races: Void Elves, Nightborne, Lightforged Draenei and Highmountain taurens. After finishing the scenario you could create a level 20 character from listed races. Next and final step is to level it to 110 without character up service, so by regular leveling way. Heritage armor boost is also available on Leprestore, so you can get your desired allied race!
8.1 Patch overview
After hitting level 110 you receive the achievement and the armor set. All sets are unique for each race, but can be used on your account. Heritage items also called legacy armor wow and they are cosmetic-only gear. Let's get a deeper look into them.
8.1 Patch overview
Void elves got the most elegant set among first four contenders. They have void-glowing shoulders with open chest and armored legs. For sure, this look suits the race perfectly, emphasizing their nobility and grace. To achieve this set, you need to unlock the race and level racial character to 110 level.
8.1 Patch overview
Highmountain taurens must look less brutal than their Kalimdor siblings. Their armor look is designed to emphasize their roots and tribal power. Colors and parts of the set are created to match architecture and culture of this ancient race. As all Legion Allied races, to get the set you need to have 110 Highmountain leveled by yourself.
8.1 Patch overview
Lightforged Draenei are guided by light, so their awesome armour shines. Textures of each part are taken from their forgotten majesty of Vindicaar. This ship is basically recreated as armor set and suits them perfectly. Steps of acquiring the heritage are the same.
8.1 Patch overview
Nightborne are also noble Elves, so their look was designed in order to keep the atmosphere. Tunic in maroon colors is covering their body, showing their greatness and elegancy. As other Legion allied races, you just need to level your character to 110.

New Heritage Armor Sets

Battle for Azeroth introduced four more allied races, two for each faction. Dark Iron Dwarves and Kultiran Humans joined the Alliance. Zandalari Trolls and Maghar Orcs followed the Horde. These new players in Azeroth game have received their own legacy sets. The only difference ahead of new reputation farm is to get 120 level instead of 110 starting from same 20. Leprestore is armed to unlock them for you (Link)
8.1 Patch overview
Dark Iron Dwarves are well-known race from Vanilla. Mighty blacksmiths refused to join any side and continued to be guardians of a Black Rock. Their heritage set is fully designed after their architecture showing the might and power. Unlocking requires completed War Campaign (available on Leprestore) and Exalted with 7th Legion faction (Link).
8.1 Patch overview
Mag'har Orcs are also the old race – we met them in Outland during the Burning Crusade addon. Their legacy armour is designed after Iron Horde battle glory. Iron plates are covering each part of this set, making it brutal. Unlocking them similar to Dark Iron with 1 difference – Exalted should be earned with Honorbound.
8.1 Patch overview
Kul Tiran Humans are not yet playable race on live realms until 8.1 patch. But there are already known requirements for this hidden faction. You will need to reach exalted with Proudmoore Admiralty plus finishing War Campaign.
8.1 Patch overview
Zandalari Trolls will also land for players only in 8.1. They have their faces covered by ancient voodoo mask with usual setting of Zandalari Empire. You can unlock them via reaching exalted with Zandalari Empire plus War Campaign completed.

Battle of Dazar'alor Raid

8.1 Patch overview
This upcoming release sounds as a miracle for World of Warcraft – Battle of Dazar'alor raid. First raid to have different bosses for each faction. As Alliance player you will experience siege of Zandalari capital city. As Horde slayer you will have to protect it from conquerors. The origin of this raid takes its start from the name of expansion – Battle for Azeroth. Each faction will have own 6 bosses to defeat and similar last 3. This change should bring a new blood to our awesome game. Battle of Dazar'alor boost will for sure give you brand new awesome gear and experience. As always, Leprestore is glad to open pre-orders for BOD carry as soon as it's available.Crucible of StormsNext thing that already announced – Crucible of Storms raid. This instance is still hidden from publicity. We only know that it is located in Stormsong Valley and will continue the chain of Old Gods. During the COS boost you can answer your questions about lore. Probably, we will also reveal some new secrets about Queen Azshara. Who knows, maybe N'Zoth will finally show himself out? Blizzard are advising us to wait for BlizzCon for new information. Leprestore will launch COS Carry as soon as it's becomes available. Can't wait!

New 8.1 Druid Forms

8.1 Patch overview
Druids always been the less dependant class for transmog, since 3 of their specs are not wearing armor. Battling in his forms, druid can't take the advantage from awesome set look. That's why Blizzard started to work a lot on Druid forms during Legion. Zandalari Druid forms are designed after creatures you can meet on self-named island. This includes all possible forms, not only the battle ones – travel, swim and flying as well. Kultiran Druid forms are also ethnically belonging to Kul Tiras island, especially for Drustvar Zone. The unique change is that we have never received race-based Forms before, except Claws of Shirvallah for Worgens. Sadly, this look was removed back in 2016 without hope on returning yet. To get these new amazing druid forms you need to have a KulTiran or Zandalari Druid. Of course, Leprestore is ready to help you with unlocking and leveling the race (link)

Warfronts Major Update

8.1 Patch overview
Warfronts are the addition for Battle of Azeroth – first massive PvE battle against opposite faction. The realm problem is that current state of warfronts is very bad looking. It's boring and not giving you real challenge nor rewards. 8.1 patch going to change the roll, giving us Battle for Darkshore Warfront with new rewards, challenges, achievements and targets. We hope that this addition is going to improve warfronts and make them more popular and desired.

Patch 8.1 Other Changes

As always, new patch brings class changes, balance updates, fresh content and improving older one. We are going to have a rebalance of Island Expeditions, World Quests, Azerithe Farm, Class improvements. Maybe druids and shadow priests can get back into the game? For sure, druids will be back with their new awesome looks. We don't have an estimate for a 8.1 patch, but most probably it will land after Blizzcon 2018. Stay tuned with Leprestore and play on a high-end with our help. It has been more than 2 months since release of a new World of Warcraft expansion.
