Welcome to my guide for the AAC Light-heavyweight M2 Savage. This guide is designed to help players defeat Honey B. Lovely by providing mechanic instructions for clearing and weekly farming in the future.
Note that execution in PF can change later, and the execution in different regions can be different.
This boss is much easier than Black Cat on a mechanical level, but mistakes are more punished in the end. Just pay attention, be clean, and you’ll defeat her in only a couple of hours without too much of a hassle.
Before pulling the boss, it’s recommended to assign positions to your party members. Typically, Tanks are paired with Range players, and Healers are paired with Melee players. Additionally, it’s important to assign clock spots for the last mechanic. The most common arrangement is MT/R1 at the NW, OT/R2 at the NE, H1/M1 at the SW, and H2/M2 at the SE parts of the arena.
It takes a lot of effort and teamwork to challenge this raid. If you don’t have the time to beat your head against the wall, you can use our Arcadion boost to get valuable endgame rewards and learn the reaid with professional teams.
First Phase – Splash Of Venom & Drop Of Venom
Honey B. opens with raid wide, then begins to introduce you to her standard memory check mechanics – a Splash of Venom or Drop of Venom for later. Luckily, splash means spread, and drop means pair. After that, she will cast either Line AoE or Donut AoE like on Barbariccia Extreme Trial.
Run out or in with your color partner, then go to the safe spots on the arena for spreading or stacking.
For the line spread have one light party member on each side, then simply run in. For better uptime, make sure the order from the north is RTMH.
Right after she will cast Tank Buster. Just point them away from the group to the north if it’s a laser busters and don’t overlap party if it’s a double-buster.
Finishing with raid-wide which opens the first beat phase.
Second Phase – 1st Beat
You’ll start with a random number of hearts, between 0-2. If you get four, you’ll be forced to simp for her and lock in animation, which heals her for 1% and buffs her damage for the rest of the fight. Then Honey B. Lovely will cast either Centerstage Combo or Outerstage Combo. Right after she will spawn floating hearts + towers that give you +1 heart debuff by casting Love Me Tender.
To dodge stage combos, follow these steps: For Outer stay between the pink lines at maximum melee range. After the first hit, move back to the intercardinal position for the second hit, and then move inside the hitbox for the third hit. For the center stage, the steps are reversed.
For the towers feel free to have up to three hearts. After 11 towers drop, run out for a chariot. Stay away from the spiraling hearts (they are larger than they look) and be careful with moving abilities. Halfway through, someone will get a Heartsick stack, which distributes four hearts. If you’re not already on three hearts from the towers, this is your responsibility to go and stack.
And finally, you’ll get the other stage combo. It will be always the opposite cast of the previous one. Let’s pretend it’s Center so we do – Inside hitbox for the first hit, then we go intercardinal for the second, and max melee for the third.
Finale cast – dealing massive damage and ending the 1st Beat.
Third Phase – 2nd Beat
This phase starts with the tank busters. Better for tanks to preposition themselves on the North part of the are and prepare to do a Mario-kart strat for the Alarm Pheromones mechanic. Bait line AoEs and move CW or CCW with tanks. Then she will cast 2nd Beat. Two random players in each role will have one heart, and the other two players will have zero hearts. Mitigate and watch her cast: she will either use Spread Love or Drop of Love, indicating a spread or partner stack after the main mechanic (type in chat what it was).
People with 0 hearts should stay behind the boss on the South side, while people with 1 heart should stay in front. Then, as a group, rotate clockwise when you start to receive stack indicators on the floor.
After that, people with 0 hearts will receive AoE markers on them – they should just go away from the group. Two towers will spawn, and two people with 0 hearts should cover these towers. It’s usually west for support and east for DPS.
Finishing with our memory test mechanic Splash of Venom or Drop of Venom with dodging the AoE first.
Then Honey B. cast Finale to end the 2nd Beat phase.
Fourth Phase – 3rd Beat
The phase starts with Splash of Venom or Drop of Venom, and we again just type in chat what is it. Right after bees from Mario-kart will spawn but now in the fixed positions. Players must avoid Poison Sting and leave puddles in safe spots. Right after, they must go back into hitbox to resolve a light party stack.
We stand in the middle of the hitbox and just run outside when we have a marker to drop a puddle. Supports go NW clockwise, and DPS go SE clockwise.
After every person drops their puddle you split into 2 groups inside the hitbox to absorb the stack. Supports stay on the west side and DPS on the east side inside the hitbox.
Then she will do a random tank buster.
Following with our memory check mechanic. Look in chat what was it while dodging AoE.
Then she cast Beat 3 and we have hearts again.
Then all players will start with zero hearts and debuffs after she casts Beat 3. One roles will have a shorter debuff duration, and the other role will have a longer duration.
She starts with the Spread Love/Drop of Love and we type in chat what was it or remember it as usual.
Then we start the dodge Ourtestage/Centerstage combo like in 1st Beat phase and pay attention to your debuffs timer.
Right after 4 towers spawn, but they are a jebait! People with longer debuff timers STAY in the middle while ppl with short timers go to their clock position to the edge of the arena and blow defamation AoE there, and only after ppl from hitbox go and cover their pair tower.
Now we dodge the second set of Ourtestage or Centerstage combo and repeat the same, but now people who had defamation stay mid and cover the tower after people with timers blow their AoE.
Following in our favorite memory check. Dodge AoE and look at chat to know what was it spread or pairs.
The last tank buster before the last phase of the fight.
Fifth Phase – Rotten Heart
The final phase functions as a soft enrage, with increasing difficulty as Queen Bee Honey B. Lovely accumulates more stacks. It’s essential to keep stacks low in previous phases to manage the difficulty of this phase. Make you stay on your clock spot and have some mitigations.
During this phase, stay in your position and keep an eye on your debuffs. Each player will receive an Alpha or Beta debuff with a timer. When the timer reaches 5 seconds, run forward to kiss your buddy, go BOOM and run back to your position.
Then you just stand and dps. Super free phase, but don’t overlap mitigation because AoE hits very hard, especially if you have ilevel around 710.
After the fourth cast, focus on dealing damage because Honey B. Lovely will cast her hard enrage ability, Sheer Heart Attack. This will give her 16 Queen Bee stacks, heal her, and wipe out the raid shortly after.
