BH Location
Baradin Hold is located on the main Tol Barad island, across from the peninsula. Only the faction that controls the island can enter this area. To reach the raid, head to the island’s central swamp and look for the building there. On the west side of this building, you’ll find a trapdoor that serves as the entrance. The summoning stone is just to the left of this trapdoor.
To reach Baradin Hold in World of Warcraft Cataclysm Classic, follow these steps:
To get to the Tol Barad Peninsula:
Alliance players can use a portal in Stormwind, while Horde players can find one in Orgrimmar.
Players level 85 and above can also use Mage teleport or portal abilities to reach the Peninsula.
To access the island with the Baradin Hold raid entrance:
To purchase these tabards, players must achieve Honored status with their respective Tol Barad faction.
Level Requirement:
You need to be level 85, the maximum level in Cataclysm Classic, to enter Baradin Hold.
Baradin Hold is available in two raid sizes: 10-player and 25-player. Unlike other raids, it only has a Normal mode with no Heroic mode option.

BH Bosses Cataclysm:
Argaloth – The magi of the Kirin Tor couldn’t keep the massive pit lord Argaloth in Dalaran’s Violet Hold. As a result, they had to imprison the powerful demon beneath Tol Barad.
Occu’thar – This hungry demon escaped its cage and invaded the western wing of the prison, consuming all the inmates held there. Its voracious appetite caused its body to swell, trapping it within the prison wing, which became its new confinement.
Alizabal, Mistress of Hate – The Kirin Tor confined Alizabal in the formidable Violet Hold shortly after corrupt magi summoned her into Azeroth. Despite arcane wards limiting her abilities, the demon’s malevolent influence alone incited her guards to murderous rage against each other. Her relocation to Baradin Hold before the Cataclysm only worsened the prison’s already dire conditions.
BH Argaloth
Argaloth’s Fight Overview:
The fight with Argaloth consists of one phase but involves managing two main abilities: Meteor Slash and Fel Firestorm.
Key Abilities:
Meteor Slash: Argaloth targets a group with a cone of fire, applying a debuff that increases Fire Damage taken. This requires careful positioning and timing.
Consuming Darkness: A debuff on three players that deals increasing Shadow Damage over time until dispelled.
Fel Firestorm: At 66% and 33% health, Argaloth summons burning Fel Flames that damage players who remain in the area.
Strategy Breakdown:
Group Splitting: Divide the raid into two equal groups positioned on opposite sides of Argaloth. This ensures only one group is affected by Meteor Slash at a time.
Handling Meteor Slash: When Meteor Slash occurs, the targeted group should stack together to mitigate damage. The other group’s tank should then taunt Argaloth to switch the focus of the debuff.
Debuff Management: Healers must promptly dispel Consuming Darkness to prevent lethal damage to affected players.
Fel Firestorm: During Fel Firestorm phases, players must avoid standing in the burning Fel Flames while continuing to attack Argaloth.
Optimal Use of Cooldowns: Use raid-wide cooldowns like Heroism, Bloodlust, or Time Warp strategically, avoiding their use during Fel Firestorm to maximize damage output.
By coordinating positioning, debuff management, and cooldown usage effectively, your raid can successfully defeat Argaloth in Cataclysm Classic.
BH Occu’thar
Occu’thar is a single-phase fight that revolves around two main mechanics: handling adds and coordinating tank swaps. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Key Mechanics:
Focused Fire: Occu’thar targets a random player with a scorching gaze that deals heavy Fire damage within 12 yards. Players should spread out to minimize the number of targets.
Searing Shadows: Occu’thar casts a cone-shaped blast of Shadow damage in front of him, increasing the target’s Shadow damage taken.
Adds:
Eyes of Occu’thar: Occu’thar summons these eyes on each player. They deal Shadow damage over 10 seconds and explode if not killed in time, causing heavy Shadow damage to nearby players.
Strategy:
Tank Positioning:
The main tank positions Occu’thar facing away from the raid to prevent Searing Shadows from hitting other players.
After the first Searing Shadows, the off-tank taunts Occu’thar and positions him away from the raid while the main tank turns their back to avoid the debuff.
Raid Positioning:
Spread out to avoid multiple players being hit by Focused Fire void zones.
When Eyes of Occu’thar appear, all players, including the off-tank, move to a safe spot away from void zones.
Handling Eyes:
Use AoE attacks to quickly kill the Eyes of Occu’thar before the 10-second timer expires.
The off-tank, who will also have an Eye on them, should join the group to kill it with AoE.
Priorities:
Killing the Eyes of Occu’thar is the top priority to prevent their explosion and minimize raid damage.
Coordinate tank swaps effectively and communicate to ensure everyone focuses on the Eyes when they appear.
By managing these mechanics, positioning correctly, and focusing on quick add elimination, your raid can successfully defeat Occu’thar.
BH Alizabal, Mistress Of Hate
Alizabal’s fight is straightforward, requiring the tanks to swap aggro regularly and the raid to adjust formations as needed. Here’s the detailed strategy:
Abilities:
Skewer: Stuns the current tank for 8 seconds, dealing heavy physical damage over time.
Seething Hate: Deals Fire damage to all raid members.
Blade Dance: Alizabal becomes immune to damage and spins, slashing any nearby players.
Strategy:
Tank Swaps:
Tanks should taunt Alizabal off of each other every time one is stunned by Skewer.
Raid Positioning:
The raid should stack close to Alizabal for easier healing and to ensure everyone gets hit by Seething Hate, which can be healed through efficiently.
When Alizabal starts Blade Dance, all players must spread out and move away from her to avoid the slashes.
Handling Blade Dance:
Players in range of Alizabal during Blade Dance should run as far away as possible to minimize damage.
Healer Coordination:
Healers should be prepared for high tank damage from Skewer and moderate raid damage from Seething Hate.
After each Blade Dance, Seething Hate is typically cast twice. Be ready to spread out and then stack back up.
By managing tank swaps, stacking and spreading at the right times, and being prepared for high damage phases, your raid can successfully defeat Alizabal.
