Enchanting Leveling Guide 1-525 Cataclysm Classic

This guide for leveling Enchanting from 1-525 in Cataclysm Classic focuses on easily obtained recipes with the fewest complex ingredients. It also provides alternative options for when materials are hard to find.

You can make this one up to 270 if you can get cheap Purple Lotus.

You can buy the recipe from Madame Ruby (Shattrath City). You should also buy Formula: Superior Wizard Oil while you are there. Both of them are limited supply items, so if someone bought them before you, you must wait for them to respawn (about 5-10 minutes).

You might have to make a few more to reach 335.

Blood Elf (exclusive) 335 – 340

There is an alternative, cheap method for the 335-345, but only Blood Elves can benefit from it.
Because of their racial passive skill Arcane Affinity they can gain ten free skill ups by converting a Large Prismatic Shard into x3 Small Prismatic Shard and back again.

Only the conversion from one Large Prismatic Shard to x3 Small Prismatic Shards is affected by this. Therefore, you will only have the chance to gain skill-ups half of the time (since the other half of the time, you’ll be converting back to three Small Prismatic Shards). The recipe will be grey, and you won’t get any skill points for every craft! You have a very low chance of gaining skill points. It will probably take 10-15 minutes to gain 10 of them for free.

The Formula: Large Prismatic Shard is sold by Madame Ruby (Shattrath City), Lyna (Silvermoon City) and Egomis (The Exodar), and the Small Prismatic Shard recipe is taught by your trainer.

335 – 340

You can keep making Enchant Shield – Major Stamina if Large Prismatic Shard is too expensive.
