Inscription in WoW Cataclysm Classic is a crafting profession that allows players to mill gathered herbs into various pigments, convert those pigments into inks, and combine them with vendor-purchased parchments. Scribes can then create glyphs, shoulder enchants, offhand items, Darkmoon Cards, Enchanting Vellums, and other useful items.
This guide covers how to get started in Inscription, the best secondary professions, the best races and classes, profession trainer locations, and the basics of crafting items in Inscription.

Go to Vashj’ir – Kelp’thar Forest and kill mobs until you obtain the Technique: Origami Slime ( zone drop with a high chance). Although the recipe will be green, it only requires Resilient Parchment, which can be purchased from Inscription supply vendors.
Before farming, check your bank or bag to see if you already have it. You might have stored it away when your Inscription skill was lower and then forgotten about it. Remember, it won’t drop again if you already have it in your bag or bank. This also applies to the next two recipes.
You can make the recipe below if you don’t want to farm the technique:
15 Dust of Disappearance – 15 Blackfallow Ink
490 – 500
Go to Deepholm and kill Twilight Bloodsmith mobs until you get Technique: Origami Rock (zone drop recipe) – Other mobs can drop it too. Learn the recipe and make it until you reach 500.
500 – 510
Head to Uldum and just kill every mob until you get Technique: Origami Beetle (zone drop). Learn the recipe and make it until you reach 510.

The cheapest method would be to make Forged Documents up to 520 or 525. It has a cooldown of 24-hours (it always resets at 0:00), but the materials are cheap, unlike the other items you can craft at this skill level. This way, it will take around 15-16 days to level Inscription.
If you want to reach 525 as fast as possible, make 4 Divine Companion, Battle Tome, or Dungeoneering Guide.
