Who does not like rogue-like games today? Probably, it is one of the most popular genres in videogames nowadays, and World of Warcraft creators decided to deliver you the experience from this type of entertainment: Torghast, Tower of the Damned. Today we’re going to introduce you with this activity in our overview, but in an unusual way. Get yourself suited well and read the 5 important things you need to know about Torghast. Be sure not to miss anything!
All of us have heard that Blizzard prepared a unique dungeon-like activity for the endgame players. And now we can enjoy it in Shadowlands, but first, you may ask “Where is Torghast Tower?”. We sure you won’t miss it after reaching level 60, as it is located in the very center of The Maw (you may get here with our help for the cheapest price by ordering The Maw Unlock boost), the “homeplace” for the Jailer. Torghast is the equivalent of the soul-storage for him. Precious soul-storage. The heroes of Azeroth will have to break into it and empower themselves with Soul Ash, but before it, they should unlock the activity by performing a questline.
You may find the entrance after the introductory questline is finished.
How to unlock Torghast? The idea is to finish the enjoyable quest after reaching 60th level and pledging for Covenant you have chosen. The quest should be taken in the Maw location, and it is connected with Ve’nari, the Broker. After you complete it, Torghast will be able to access all the characters on your account. Worth it, right? The beneficial part of this quest is that it is making you familiar with the most of mechanics the Tower has. To enter Torghast you do not need any additional items or gear. Though, you may ask your Leprestore friends for help and order our Torghast tower carry option related to Torghast unlock. It will not only guarantee you an access to the Tower, but you will also have the chance to craft legendary armor with Runecarver. You will get familiar with him later in this article:)
Tower of the Damned is full of surprises you may want to add both to your gear and Covenant Sanctum. With Freed Souls you can significantly increase your Covenant progress, while Soul Ash, main currency granted to you for the Tower run, will give you a chance to craft legendary armor. 6 times a week you can get this Ash and bring it to the Runecarver, a new important character, to have your gear be as strong as Frostmourne (well, it should be!). Moreover, you can deal with Tower’s bosses to get good equipment for any PvE activity.
However, this joyful experience is not easy at all. Probably, you like to buy Torghast with our WoW Torghast boost service to get some help. Collecting Soul Ash resources through passing each floor of the Tower grants you the possibility of getting a piece of gear from the Runecarver. LEGENDARY GEAR! The Runecarver made Frostmourne and Helm of Domination, so you should take your chance. And if the challenge appear to be tough, we can help you to get this expansion’s legendaries with our trusted Legendary Items farm service!
The Runecarver is suffering in Torghast. Though, he can craft you legendary armor anyway!
During each run you will also collect the resource called Phantasma that can be spent on different enhancing factors inside Torghast. You have to spend it all during each run, since nothing of Phantasma will have left after leaving Torghast. Though, the upgrades bought with this resource may simplify your walkthrough drastically (not as good as our Torghast carry help will, though).
So, now you know about all the pleasures Torghast can grant you: funny and unique runs, Legendary gear and individual progression defined only by your choice. What rules should you know to perform Torghast tower carry alone? (better with us for sure!)
Torghast, Tower of the Damned structure
First, the tower has a complicated structure: layers consist of 6 floors, while wings consist of 8 layers. Player finishes the Tower floor by floor, and each 3rd floor appears to be a so-called Break Room, where you can spend your Phantasma on upgrades or make some changes to your equipment, spec or talents (by the way, The Jailer’s Chains spell won’t allow you to do this on other floors, so you have to stop its affection by Refuge of the Damned effect on each 3rd floor and in the entrance to the Tower). Each 6th floor appears to be a Boss Room with a big guy waiting to kick you out. Wings are different “settings” for your run, these are Skoldus Hall, Fracture Chambers, Soulforges, Coldheart Interstitia, Mort’regar, and The Upper Reaches. Each week, though, you will have the possibility to enter floors from only two of them.
6 different Wings, but only 2 of them are available each week.
Also, there is a mode of Twisting Corridors in the Tower. It will generate an 18 floor run out of all 6 wings randomly for you to compete with monsters for different cosmetic items. However, you will not get Soul Ash for finishing such runs.
After you complete certain layers, you will have the ability to access them from the so-called Wayfinder. It is the plate that will appear after the introductory quest is finished. From here you may not only get familiar with layers you have already finished, but also find information about rewards you can get this week from each certain layer.
Wayfinder will show you all the information about layers passed and rewards.
Progression in Tower is tightly connected with both the development of your character and the enemies. You should gain so-called Anima Orbs from various sources in Torghast, like killing Empowered or Rare mobs and completing side objectives. Each Anima Orb gives you a choice of Anima Powers (you should select one out of three) that are given randomly and enhance your character significantly for the current run. They can be of different rarity starting from Common (White color) to Epic (Purple color). These powers are stackable, though, you should carefully plan your build with them and read WoW Torghast tactics for your class in order to maintain run you are in. Enemies will get stronger too through the mechanism of Torments. The higher you get, the more the Jailer tries to stop you either by weakening you or by empowering his monsters.
Empower your char with Anima Orbs. Try to get as EPIC as you can!
As it was already told, you may find Runecarver in Torghast. He has own chamber to the right from the Torghast entrance. In order not to get lost with looking for him, have a glance at the map below.
Let’s start from the most interesting one. The thing is, in Torghast you do not have to care about time or speed a lot. There is only one important aspect: the number of deaths you have. For each run, you can die this amount of times:
Group Size | Number of Tries |
---|---|
1 player | 5 deaths |
Group of 2 players | 8 deaths for the group |
Group of 3 players | 10 deaths for the group |
Group of 4 players | 13 deaths for the group |
Group of 5 players | 15 deaths for the group |
Obscuring Essence Potion increases your count of lives in party. But when you have ultimately wasted your “deaths limit”, you won’t immediately end the run. In fact, after 30 seconds timer, in the beginning of the floor you will meet the horrific Tarragrue. Well, technically, you will try to run from it as soon as you can, since if it reaches you, you will die. Absolutely. You may escape from it on another floor, but there you may die only once. After it, the timer will start again, and Tarragrue following starts again.
Wheeeere aaare youuu? Come and seee daddy-skeleton!! I won’t bite.
Each time you enter a 6th floor, you will have the possibility to spend some of your Phantasms near Broker Ve’nott. But it’s just preparation for the Boss Encounter. The barrier behind the boss will block your way upward in the Tower until you finish the Boss off. This fight may be extremely tough, so we recommend you to buy our Torghast Tower boost for your char in order not to have problems with these tough guys. The rewards for dealing with the monster is the choice among Epic Anima Powers, and moreover you will get some Legendary Components for the Runecarver craft.
Know my lovely dog? Her name is Deathpaw. Never leaves anyone alive after hugs.
The other serious enemies are Rare Mobs. They are powerful and dangerous servants of the Jailer that will drop a good amount of Phantasma for you and a guaranteed Anima Orb. The difference of the Anima Orbs they drop lies in their exclusiveness: you won’t find their powers in any other source of receiving Anima Orbs.
There are several types of objectives in Torghast that you may finish in order to get both higher chances to receive Torghast legendary rewards. Look at the table below to find out more about them.
Objective name | Description | Rewards |
---|---|---|
Freeing Souls of Torghast | Through the Tower you will find suffering souls under the pressure from the Jailer. Free them to get useful buffs and new currency. | Freeing souls will grant you a stackable buff upon the end of the race called Soul Remnant’s Blessing that will increase your stats. Moreover, you can get new currency Freed Souls that may be spent to enhance your Covenant Sanctum. Some souls will also give you a buff Soulbound Armament. |
Phylacteries | Missed destructible objects? They are here now. Just interact with them or simply break with any attack. | Most Phylacteries will grant you some amount of Phantasma. Some of them, though, contain Anima Orbs. |
Puzzles (Rune-Locked Vaults and Lever-locked Vaults) | At some corners of every floor you may find riddle chests with runes near to them or with levers. Placing runes in correct order (just like levers) will grant you chest unlocking and rewards. | Among the rewards there may be some treasure (like Anima Orb), appearance of a Rare Mob nearby or, for example, opening of a certain door. |
Quests | On the floors you may find characters with the quests. Completing them is always possible on the same floor. | Finishing the quest grants you Phantasma or Anima Orb. |
