In anticipation of the showdown between light and darkness in the Final Shape update, Bungie has unveiled the “Into the Light” update.
In this patch, we will see legendary epic weapons that made a noise in their time. Redesigned exotic weapons Whisper of the Worm and Outbreak Perfect, a new mode in raids, the long-awaited super black shader, and much more!
Old but not forgotten!
Here you can find new updates from a small indie studio as well as old ones we missed so much.
Final Shape DLC Launch! We expect tons of fun and brand-new content.
Bungie brings a new breath of air in the form of, a returned and modified 12 weapons called the Brave Arsenal. Previously, these weapons could be obtained from random engrams or by playing PvP. Now you will be able to get all of the returned weapons of the regular and master versions from new activities in the Into the Light DLC.
The new weapon will be obtainable by farming Onslaught activity. On higher difficulty, the chances of getting good weapons are noticeably higher, but also the strength of your enemies will increase, and they will become stronger, and your life will be in danger every wave.
You will also have the opportunity to increase the chances of getting the weapon you need by using Weapon’s Attunement in the new Hub “Hall of Champions”, which will be available after the update on the 9th of April. In case Onslaught is too difficult for you or you just get bored with the monotonous farming you can go to other activities and get Trophies of Bravery as a reward. After getting the right amount you can return to Shax, who will be waiting for you in the “Hall of Champions” and pick up the weapons in the chests that are located next to him.
limited-edition god rolls?
It should also be remembered that there will be limited-edition variants in the game, which you can get by random chance just by passing waves in Onslaught, and do not forget to activate Attunement on the desired weapon. You can also get these weapons by completing quests from Arcite, who is guaranteed to give you one gun with jewelry and great perks. Bungie says that they will be adding such drops throughout the time until 4 June.
It’s also important to note that the limited-edition weapons in Into the Light will have unique jewelry and get two perks in each column, but the time to get them will be limited and once the Final Shape year DLC is released, the rolls can no longer be obtained in any way, making them even more unique.
Each weapon will have unique perks, which will be described below:
Indomitability grants 2.5% energy to the Weapon Final Blow ability, determined by the subclass you choose. For Solar Arc and Void subclasses, you’ll get Grenade energy, and for using Strand and Stasis subclasses, you’ll get Melee energy.
Desperate Measures gives you a 10% bonus damage to Weapon Final Blow. If that seems insignificant, just do Grenade or Melee Kill and you’ll get another 20%, for a total bonus damage of 30%.
Luna’s Howl has also gotten perk changes. Now each targeted finishing blow adds a stack of Magnificent Howl. When you reload, you get as many boosted rounds as the number of stacks of the buff you had before reloading.
Magnificent Howl’s damage buff is as much as 50%, which is great for PvP and PvE modes. The Lucky Pants are a great exotic armor option.
After the release of Final Shape, you will be able to improve the perks in the third and fourth columns, but the rest will remain unchanged.
Into The Light bridges the gap between Season of the Wish and The Final Shape, bringing with it a range of both new and returning weapons. In anticipation of Into The Light, we’ve detailed all the reissued weapons coming in the update that you can look forward to.
Mountaintop Revamp
Mountaintop: Legendary kinetic grenade launcher terrorized guards in PvP mode and mobs in PvE activities. It had high damage and fast reload. Now it will return to us as a fan weapon. It will have the “Danger Zone” perk, which will reduce the damage on itself, and now with its help, you can safely use the “Rocket Jumping” technique to get to those peaks that are inaccessible with normal jumps.
Hammerhead Revamp
Hammerhead: Previously, this void machine gun was used for PvP. Now Bungie is bringing back this machine gun with new perks. Now the machine gun can handle encounters in Raid and Dungeons and is great against guardians in PvP.
Edge Transit Revamp
Edge Transit: The returned hollow grenade launcher was not particularly popular when it appeared in the game. It was associated with a meme where the drop chance was negligible, but soon Bungie fixed this problem. Now this weapon is back with some great perks that will be great for damaging bosses in any PvE activity.
Falling Guillotine Revamp
Falling Guillotine: A great Legendary Void sword that made a lot of noise in the damage meta of the game in its time. It used to be available in the Arrival season, after the season ended it appeared in the Dares of Eternity rotation and is available for pickup there at the appropriate time.
The Recluse Revamp
Recluse: The excellent void SMG has long been in meth among weapons of its type. Previously it could only be obtained in PvP mode. Now everyone will be able to get it in the new PvE mode and enjoy the great shooting of this machine gun.
Blast Furnace Revamp
Blast Furnace: Best choice in PvP. In its time, the excellent damage and range allowed you to play with this Pulse Rifle at a very long distance and not lose its effectiveness. If you like PvP mode in the game, then we highly recommend you get this weapon to enjoy safe shooting at a distance.
Luna’s Howl Revamp
Luna’s Howl: One of the best Hand Cannons in the game, the Magnificent Howl perk gave increased damage after two aimed shots, allowing you to get a big advantage in battle against other guards. Many people tried to get this weapon, but not all of them were able to. Now it will be much easier to get it than before.
Midnight Coup Revamp
Midnight Coup: Legendary Hand Cannon. For a very long time was the best among other weapons in the Kinetic slot for PvE mode. The updated Midnight Coup will return to us with new perks and possibly revive the Hand Cannons meta in PvE.
Forbearance Revamp
Forbearance: The outstanding grenade launcher of its season has Wave Frame and excellent perks for both PvP and PvE modes. Still considered one of the best among its kind of weapons.
Sucession Revamp
Succession: Another successful weapon from Bungie that still derides itself as one of the best among Sniper Rifle. Excellent perk connection allows you to do good damage on bosses in any PvE activity, and ammo recovery allows you to switch to another weapon without thinking about reloading.
Hung Jury SR 4 Revamp
Hung Jury: The Hung Jury SR4 is a Legendary Scout Rifle. Currently appears in Nightfall rotation, and an adept version obtained in Grandmaster difficulty raids is also available. It is popular in PvP. Many players are happy that it will be easier to get it than before and now the time will not be limited to a weekly rotation.
