Greetings, traveller! You’re on the personal (yeah, exactly!) page of the most helpful leprechaun in the whole F.U.N.M.U.S., Funny Unusual Nearly Multidimensional Universes in Space. Maybe in Time too, but I’m not the one who invents the names for such stuff, you know.

          I am Cloverhatter. Every leprechaun in the interworld works for my friendly corporation called Leprehelpers. Thousands of my beloved friends help billions of courage heroes in the different worlds of our entertaining FUNMUS to deal with troubles, double-troubles, catastrophes, ultimate MIND-BLOWING exterminations made by powerful awful villains. This may sound a lot for little leprechauns, but you should not be tricked with their look. Hope that this blog will slightly lift the veil of mystery over controversial challenges my dear ones face every mission.

Allons-y!

N’Zoth and his lovely manipulation methods. Some curious thoughts

Azeroth… I’ve decided to start with this weird place cause of totally uncontrollable number of candidates on Universe Destroyer’s Position. I mean, the number of threats here is so high that I wonder why this planet still exists. Titans, Corrupted Titans, Undead, Undead without Collective Mind, Demons, Flying Demons, Tricky Demons, Big Tricky Flying Demons, Corrupted Elves, Corrupted Elves with Fish Tales (O_o)…

          The list might be eternal. However, honourable place in it should be reserved by dreadful Old Gods, creatures of the Void. There are several powers in the world of Azeroth that make the life of its inhabitants so unbearable. Races of the Alliance and the Horde need to fight with the Scourge, the Void, the Undead, and many others. All of them are using sucker punches, intrigues and immediate emergence-out-of-nowhere to blow up minds of unsuspecting little peaceful races (or «peaceful» races just follow these powers’ orders to eliminate themselves, nuff said).
N’Zoth was one of the Old Gods (technically, my leprechauns help locals to finish him off from time to time, check it out here) that used the most cunning methods of trolling mortals up to death. Different races of Azeroth faced the same strategy of this weird creature full of the following twists:

  • 1.Take powerful someone out of the race (it might be the mighty dragon, talented elf-magician or some stupid people with political reins in their hands);
  • 2.Be sure this that this someone has strong motivation to potentially destroy the world (well, who does not have it?);
  • 3.Say something like «what if they’re wrong and you’re right???»;

  • 4.PROFIT!!!

Honestly, we have been dealing with the aftermaths of this strategy so many times that sometimes I think all the villains in Azeroth are just mad people (or not people, well, technically, not people, mostly, yeah) that have heard N’Zoth voices in their head. Some local heroes are still reaching great achievements in battling Deathwing with the help of our guys. And, you know, Deathwing is definitely one of the great examples of N’Zoth actions. Even though it was not the only Old God to participate in the corruption of this Dragon Aspect of Earth, we may see that manipulation methods that affected Deathwing are quite similar to the style N’Zoth used.

          Heroes of Azeroth are still arguing on whether manipulated his “key figure”, elven Queen Azshara. On the one hand, she has shown N’Zoth that she will never obey anyone and that she wants to be treated like a queen. However, I don’t think that these things contradict each other: N’Zoth has used Azshara’s pride as motivation for further actions. Pride, probably, is the easiest thing to convert into world destruction. The whole Azeroth is full of creatures like that of all races. You can have the most beneficent pursuits, but the only smaaaaal and tiny message in your head can ruin it in one finger click: «I know better». And it probably has happened with Azshara too. She thought that her greatness should be considered to implement any plan. And N’Zoth used it because the pride’s appetites are not as big as we think of it. The rest of the story is quite famous: Azshara and her people turned into reptile-human hybrids called Nagas, and N’Zoth directed them to spoil rosy life of “good guys”. Local heroes are still fighting Azshara and her minions out there, in her palace, with Leprehelpers around.

In this note, I just want to share with you some thoughts on why bad tough guys we fight in different realms are so bad indeed. For sure, there are some powers that are hiding behind N’Zoth, but if you take a close look at the world itself you might understand that N’Zoth is a metaphor, the corruption idea, but not some certain physically based device. Technically, we destroy its avatar at some point, but we cannot destroy the Old Gods totally. There are many powers like this one in different worlds, but the way they act shows that the essential problem is races’ weaknesses and not the power itself. Pride, hatred, envy. All these things might be used not only by the Old Gods to reach their abstract goal of world corruption, but by anyone else too. And that is why we have to fight so many “smaller” creatures and minions. Because the scale of power does not essentially change the way it acts.

nzoth army

N’Zoth is watching you. Your fears. Your insecurities. Your weaknesses.

Probably, this is the reason, why I have decided to make Leprehelpers corporation. It grounds on the idea of solidarity and common actions. On the idea that together we can fight any enemy, reach any goal and overcome any barrier. N’Zoth is a huge bad guy, who needs to be kicked out of the world. And we can help you with it. But most importantly, we can help you not to deal with your heroic problems alone. That is how we can defeat the true source of N’Zoth’s power
