Welcome, adventurers of Tarisland!
This guide will help you understand how to make your character stronger through gearing. We’ll cover gear stats, how to get better gear, how gear score works, and more.
Getting gear in Tarisland is straightforward. You can get gear from dungeons, world bosses, raid bosses, and crafting. Each piece of gear has set stats and may also have a random extra stat. If you like optimizing your character, you’ll be farming gear to get the best possible stats. Let’s go into more detail on how to get and improve your gear in Tarisland.
Crafting
Crafting is another way to get gear, and it can give you bonus attributes. When you craft gear, there is a special parameter called “Chance to generate when obtaining equipment,” which can give you an extra attribute. This chance increases with better proficiency and materials. High-level gear also comes with set effects and special attributes.
Gems
In Tarisland, gems are another way to improve your gear. It’s a simple process. There are different types of gems with various stat combinations. You can get gems from reputation events, daily login rewards, and the Universal Hall.
When you equip new gear, the game automatically moves the gems from your old gear to the new one. You can also remove gems for free. Gems can be upgraded through an Ascension system by using copies of the same gem to make a stronger version.
Empowerment
The Empower system lets you add extra effects to your items. This is similar to the enchantment system in other games. To add an effect, you need two resources and some in-game currency called silver. The effects come in different rarities, from green to purple.
One of the resources needed for adding new effects is called Inscription, which you can get through Alchemy.
Artifact
Your Artifact is another way to make your character stronger. You upgrade the Artifact almost passively by collecting Rubik’s Fragments during your journey. The Artifact boosts your attack, physical defense, magic defense, and health.
You can also use Skill Stones, which you get through Alchemy, to activate special skills called Crescent Moon skills. These skills provide additional boosts to your character’s strength.

In Tarisland, there is no limit to how many times you can run dungeons. Elite dungeons drop both gear and medals. The final boss always drops better gear. Bosses before the final one drop medals that you can use to buy specific gear pieces from that dungeon. Usually, one piece of gear costs 3 medals, and you can buy up to 10 pieces this way if you run the dungeon enough times to collect the needed medals.
Raid gear can also be obtained directly from bosses or by saving medals. You either get the gear after defeating the bosses or save enough medals from raid bosses to buy the gear later.
There are many ways to make your character stronger in Tarisland. The gearing system is simple and intuitive. You get new gear from farming dungeons or raids. Final bosses drop new pieces of gear, and you get medals that you can trade for items you’re missing. Any gear can drop with an extra attribute, and this is guaranteed when crafting gear. Crafting is great for optimizing your character because you can create items with additional bonuses and guaranteed extra attributes.
Don’t forget to socket gems into your gear. Removing and adding gems doesn’t waste them. Gems provide bonuses and can be upgraded easily.
Empowerment and Artifact leveling are other systems to make your character stronger. Each system requires its own resources but is not too complicated.
The developers made gearing straightforward. It’s still a bit grindy, like in any MMORPG, but it’s easy to understand how everything works.
