The First Descendant Season 1: Content

Many players’ wait is finally over, as The First Descndant has received a massive update – Season 1 “Invasion”. This 1.1.0 update includes a huge amount of new content, including a Haley descendant, battle pass, Invasion dungeons, and much more. However, this update is significant not only in content but also in radical changes to a lot of basic game systems and is focused on improving the quality of life of players. As an example of the most important change, we got a simpler and more open system of farming Void Fragments, which previously could frustrate many players with its confusion and lack of clarity.

To be honest, there are so many changes that if we were to list them all, this text would stretch on several tens of thousands of words, and that’s why we have prepared a short and simple list of all major changes this season:

New Character in TFD Season 1

The new Descendant – Hailey, is a Chill-Attribute character who specializes in dealing significant damage with sniper rifles. Despite the fact that it is designed to use sniper rifles, it has many unique abilities that allow you to control and kill large groups of enemies without much effort. This combination of huge damage, survivability, and character abilities makes her a great choice for both a main character and a support in a group.

Here’s a closer lot at Hailey’s abilities

• Passive Skill: Safe Strategic Retreat lowers “Weak Point Damage” when attacking nearby foes and raises it when attacking distant foes.
• Active Skill 1: Cryo Round shoots multiple Cryo Rounds at enemies, causing damage and inflicting “Cryo.” Enemies affected by “Cryo” take extra damage from Hailey’s firearm attacks.
• Active Skill 2: Storm Snare pushes back enemies with a “Chill Vortex” and shoots a massive Freezing Beam. Struck enemies are inflicted with “Cryo.”
• Active Skill 3: Cold Fury grants her “Cold Fury” every second. While in the “Cold Fury” state, her Movement Speed decreases gradually, but her Firearm Penetration and Critical Hit Rate for Firearms and Skills significantly increase. When “Cold Fury” reaches maximum stacks, she becomes immune to “Knockdown,” and her Firearm and Skill Critical Hit Damage go up.
• Active Skill 4: Zenith equips her “Unique Weapon.” When attacked with the “Unique Weapon,” it significantly boosts penetration and firearm ATK and inflicts additional chill skill damage. It also restores MP when attacking Weak Points. When the “Unique Weapon” skill ends, the Cooldown of the skill decreases based on the number of bullets used.

Dungeon: Invasion

Invasion Dungeons – is an updated version of the usual missions with new unique mechanics. Unlike the usual missions – Invasion is only available for solo completion and has increased difficulty along with random modifiers that change with daily resets. In addition to other things, this activity is available for completion only 4 times a day and has a strict time limit that directly affects the obtained loot: Gold(x3), Silver(x2) Bronze(x1).
