What Are Nightmare Incursions?

Nightmare Incursions are a PvE world event that features portals to the Emerald Dream, where you’ll find various enemies, missions, characters, and lore. There are four regions that has these portals, and they are divided by levels to make alt catch-up easier. Level 25 characters can start in Duskwood, level 40 activities are available in Ashenvale, and level 50 is divided between Hinterlands and Feralas.

You can play these events solo or in a group, but playing in a group is a lot more efficient. The Nightmare Incursions will feature missions with different objectives: gathering resources, killing enemies, escorting NPCs, collecting intel from spies, and recovering items. Gathering missions will require you to use your gathering profession skills, and kill missions will sometimes feature boss enemies, all of which makes playing in groups preferable.
