Reins of the Quantum Courser boost can help you obtain rare mounts from past expansions’ content. The Reins drop from Chrono-Lord Deios in Dawn of the Infinite, and serve as a token for other mount-learning items. The mount you receive is random, and the full list of possibilities is unknown.

How Reins of the Quantum Courser Work

Reins of the Quantum Courser is an item that drops from Chrono-Lord Deios, although the drop rate is low. When you receive the Reins of the Quantum Courser, you can use it, and it will turn into a random Reins item from past expansions. The full list of the mounts it can turn into is unknown.

These have been confirmed to drop on the PTR by veteran players:

• Cartel Master’s Gearglider
• Reins of the Infinite Timereaver
• Midnight’s Eternal Reins

These are all dungeon mounts, and there is speculation among the data miners that the Quantum Courser can turn into one of 16 rare dungeon mounts, including Mechagon Peacekeeper (owned by 1% of players), Mummified Raptor Skull (owned by 4% of players), Midnight’s Eternal Reins (owned by 6% of players), Sharkbait’s Favorite Crackers (owned by 6% of players), and more. This is excellent news, because these dungeon mounts can take over 200 attempts over months of grinding. Having another option to farm them would be helpful.

There is also speculation that the Reins of the Quantum Courser can turn into raid mounts: Mimiron’s Head, Flametalon of Alysrazor, Experiment 12-B, Reins of the Blazing Drake, or Life-Binder’s Handmaiden. We don’t know for sure, but we will update this section when more information becomes available. Let’s hope for a large mount pool from all sorts of old content! That way, the Reins of the Quantum Courser boost will be a convenient one-stop-shop for farming rare old mounts.

How Quantum Courser Farm Works

For a guaranteed drop option, a team of experienced WoW players will repeatedly carry you through the Dawn of the Infinite until Reins of the Quantum Courser drop. Once your character gets the Reins, the Quantum Courser carry service is complete. The weekly attempts option will let you select how many attempts you want, and the boost is done once you’ve had that number of runs. Observe uncertain quantum entities responsibly!
