Delves in Midnight

Delves have 11 Tiers of difficulty, and each of them is unlocked when you beat the previous one. You start at 1, then climb as high as you can get. Tier 8 Delves will award you the strongest items of the season, with difficulties up to 11 only increasing in Dawncrests and bragging rights. Valeera Sanguinar is the second Delve companion added in WoW Midnight to replace Brann Bronzebeard. Valeera Sanguinar is a returning character, you may remember her from the Rogue Order Hall way back in Legion. She’s back now to provide support as an NPC companion in Delves. The idea behind Valeera is that if you want to play them solo, your NPC companion will cover for your weaknesses. It’s actually a viable way to farm without having to wait for LFGs and wrangle random teammates. We even use her during our Delve carry services!

Just like Brann, she can switch between a DPS, tank, or heal loadout, depending on your needs. For example, if you’re playing a squishy Warlock, set her to tanking, and if you’re a beefy Paladin that can’t out-DPS a stiff breeze, she can soften up the enemies for you. As you do Delve runs with her, she gets XP and levels up, which increases her health and damage. Get her strong enough, and she will absolutely wreck shop in solo play. Valeera can also equip one Combat Curio and one Utility Curio that modify her skills. You can find Curios in Delves. Think of them as Trinkets that only your Delve companion can wear. Here’s the list of Curios in Midnight Season 1:

Combat Curios:

• Holy Bounding Hand Grenade: Companion grenade has 50% stun chance for 1.5s, 40% bounce.
• Mantle of Stars: Below 40% health grants 50% max health absorb, 25% increased damage taken for 12s, 2 min cooldown.
• Nether Entropic Kris: Companion applies 30s Void DoT, 15% chance spread to 1 enemy, stacks 5 times.
• Porcelain Blade Tip: Companion increases critical strike chance against target by 10% for 9s.
• Sanctum’s Edict: Gain 1% damage and healing per Blessing stack (5 from elites, 1 from normals), 15 stacks convert 30% of current health to shield and buff the Blessings.

Utility Curios:

• Ebon Crown of Subjugation: Get Subjugated Burdens by opening Mislaid Curiosities to worship you; gain up to 6 worshipers with each granting 1% Primary Stat and a bonus after 6.
• Mandate of Sacred Death: Companion buffs you (or teammates) on using Tools of the Trade, giving you a 5% chance to deal 1% target max health as Holy damage, 10s per target cooldown.
• Motionless Nulltide: Stand still in combat for 6s to get stacks of Cosmic Momentum (max 10), jumping grants 1% Haste per stack for 10s, 20s cooldown.
• Overflowing Voidspire: After 25s combat, you and all your teammates gain 18% increased damage and healing for 35s, 35s cooldown.
• Time Lost Edict: Companion creates 12s zones at your location granting allies 5% speed/recharge/cast, and enemies suffer the opposite.

Each Curio can go up to 4 ranks of quality when you collect copies of it at higher Tiers. A quick Delve boost is your best bet to collect all these Curios and outfit Valeera for high-level combat!
