To obtain the catalyst, you must solve a series of puzzles. First of all, you need a fireteam to help you through the dungeon and the puzzle to get the catalyst, and our for that puzzle and the weapon itself.
First Puzzle
After the first encounter, you will see the sideroom with a heart icon. In it, you will see 4 blue panels, 2 on the left and 2 on the right, on the left panels are the numbers you need to get on the right, and you can get them by adding the 4 numbers from the red panels, all you have to do is calculate from the available numbers on the red panels to get the number on the blue panels on the left.
For example, we need to get the number 16 when adding 4 numbers, so we take the buff operator and shoot at the red numbers 3+4+7+2=16.
Second Puzzle
Then, take the message and go on looking for the broken bridge. After that, in the big room, there will be more red panels and 4 blue ones. Again, use 4 different red numbers that multiply together to get the value on the right panel.
For example, I divided the number 168 by 4 and got 42 so I need to multiply 2 numbers to get 42 and multiply it by 4 to get 168 and when multiplying 168 by 1 to get 168 so, I take the buff operator and shoot at 6-7-4-1 numbers than on the wall will appear a message take it and go on.
Third Puzzle
After the first boss kill, After the jump puzzle. Here, you will see a large number of blue panels on the circle, you need to use 4 different red numbers that add up to get blue numbers, so you need to get two two-digit blue numbers that, when multiplied together, will give you the bottom blue numbers.
For example, we have the number 575, it can be decomposed into the numbers 23 and 25, to get these numbers we take the buff operator and shoot at 4 different red numbers 6+4+8+5= 23, the same thing we do for the number 25= 6 + 4 +8 +7, then they are multiplied on the blue panels, and we get the number 575.
Next Step
When completing all 3 puzzles and receiving a message from them, you will complete the “Access Override” Triumph, which will give you access to the secret room.
Path To A Secret Room
After clearing the room, the purple barrier will disappear. Instead of going forward, turn left, and you’ll see a platform ahead. Jump onto the platform, and you will find a narrow passage leading to a secret room. Inside, you will encounter a Fallen enemy holding the Operator Augment. Defeat this enemy to get the Augment.
Understanding The Puzzle Layout
Inside the room, you’ll find four pillars, each with a terminal, a set of red number panels, and a locked chest in the middle. To make the instructions clear, we’ll label the pillars based on your entry point:
To solve the puzzle, you need to activate the terminals in a certain order and shoot the numbers shown on the red panels while you have the Operator Augment.
Step-by-Step Solution:
When completing this puzzle, a chest will appear in the center from which you can collect the catalyst and Triumph. Make sure you collect the Director Access Triumph before starting the next stage of the guide.
To unlock the Ice Breaker Exotic Catalyst, you need to find and destroy four Stasis crystals in the Vesper’s Host dungeon. Each destroyed Stasis crystal reveals a datapad with a number. Once you collect all four numbers, enter them into the panels in the second-level secret room. If you do this correctly, the chest in the room will drop the Ice Breaker Exotic Catalyst. All Stasis crystals must be destroyed using the Ice Breaker exotic sniper rifle.
First Stasis Crystal Location:
The first Stasis crystal is located after the first encounter. Climb up the stairs, and you’ll find it in the top right corner above the doorway as you enter the next room.
Destroy it using the Ice Breaker, and a datapad will appear on the ceiling, revealing a number.
Second Stasis Crystal Location:
Is found in the traversal section before the first boss fight, where you need to deposit multiple Nuclear Cores. After depositing the third core, go to the next room and open the door. Instead of turning left towards the blue energy barrier, take a right turn to find the crystal behind the box. Again, destroy it with the Ice Breaker, revealing a datapad in front of the door behind the glass. Write down this number as well.
Third Stasis Crystal Location:
When defeating the first boss, Raneiks Unified, you will find the third Stasis crystal. Go to the main jumping puzzle and drop down. When you turn around, you’ll see the crystal in the distance. Shoot it with the Ice Breaker.
Fourth Stasis Crystal Location:
The fourth and final Stasis crystal is located in the Tripmine room, which is also the area where you fight the second boss. The crystal is hidden in a corner of the room. Destroy it with the Ice Breaker to reveal the final datapad.
Final step:
When collecting all four numbers, return to the secret room. Pick up the Operator Augment and enter the numbers into the corresponding panels in the sequence you found them.
