Many players returning to Diablo 4 after the failure of the first few seasons are completely unaware of the game’s dynamics and the directions they need to follow to maximize efficiency and enjoyment. In ARPGs, the primary goal is to build an effective and cool character build that allows you to grind quickly and efficiently. Fast and efficient grinding is essential to min-maxing your build. Once your build is fully optimized, you grind even faster. This is the core gameplay loop of the genre and the reason why people love it.
Many Diablo 4 players misplay the game, wasting time on activities that don’t yield results or provide enjoyment. 60% of the activities in the game exist nominally, without real purpose.
For example, by playing efficiently and building your character properly, within 12 hours, you can have a monster build that clears all content with ease. Feel free to utilize our guide, and witness your friends or guildmates being amazed by how quickly and effectively you can farm everything in the game. In this guide, we’ll discuss why having a working build is essential and what you should or shouldn’t waste your time on in the game.
Checklist For A Working Build In Season 6
Choose Spiritborn as your main class. While other classes are optional, playing without spiritborn will be much more challenging. You can choose a Mage or Necromancer, but the other classes are mostly dead. Another problem is itemization. Finding 4 GA items for other classes will be much harder since over 80% of players use Spiritborn.
Spiritborn – this new class, as is typical with Blizzard, is completely overpowered. Its damage is dozens of times higher than other classes, and combined with decent survivability and speed, it outperforms all other classes combined. Even with basic gear at around 200 paragons, it can clear level 100 Pit content quickly.
Reach 4 Renown in all locations (including the new Nahantu zone). This grants +28 paragon points and six skill points, which translates to additional abilities and more closed nodes in the paragon board, making your character significantly stronger. You can’t get these bonuses elsewhere.
Level up to 60 and reach approximately 225 paragon. The best farming locations are The Pit and Infernal Hordes. At this level, your character will have activated most damage multipliers and unique paragon effects. Each activated glyph and legendary node significantly enhances your character’s power.
Max out 5 glyphs to level 100. This can be done in The Pit at level 100, with each glyph requiring around 25-30 runs (60-90 minutes per glyph). Glyphs are the primary driver of character progress.
Masterwork and Temper your items to 12/12. The best reagents are farmed in Kurast Undercity (2000 per run, taking 4 minutes with little XP) or Infernal Hordes (4000-6000 per 10-wave run, taking 11 minutes and offering plenty of XP).
Unlock and level two necessary mercenaries to rank 5. Mercenaries were introduced in Vessel of Hatred and function like those from Diablo 2 and Diablo 3, providing buffs and abilities to aid your character. In solo play, one mercenary can be permanently summoned, while a second can periodically assist with a reinforcement ability.
Farm required items and aspects (The Pit / Infernal Hordes / Helltide). Without aspects, your build simply won’t function, as they completely change gameplay. High-quality aspects significantly increase effectiveness.
Farm mythic and uber-unique items required for your build. Most builds need 1-2 mythic uniques and several regular unique items.
Run the Dark Citadel Raid on Torment 4 weekly. This raid, introduced with Vessel of Hatred, has a weekly cooldown and offers interesting mechanics, mounts, titles, and transmog rewards.
Checklist Activities Summary
To have even a mid-game build, a regular player will need to:
Complete around 100 runs of The Pit for glyph leveling (8-20 hours).
Kill 50-200 Uber Bosses (by farming reagents or purchasing them).
Farm the runes needed for crafting Mythic Unique items (a long and exhausting task).
Get all high-roll aspects.
Temper and masterwork all 800 ilvl items (another ~20 hours).
30-50 runs for Infernal Hordes and Kurast Undercity.
At the end of these activities, you will only get the base build, from which you will need to invest 2-3 times more time to transform it into a fully optimized endgame version.
A regular player will need around 50-100 hours (depending on luck and efficiency) to achieve an endgame build. We can significantly reduce this time, offering a faster and more efficient solution at a very reasonable price.
As a result of purchasing the build, you won’t just get a monster capable of demolishing all the content the game has to offer but also an excellent jumpstart for min-maxing your character and leveling up to 300 Paragon, which will take several weeks of active gameplay. However, we can also take care of that for you, allowing you to obtain a unique mount and achievement for such a challenging and time-consuming accomplishment.
What Activities Should I Focus On?
There are three main activities worth your attention in the game right now. If I had to choose what to focus on, it would be:
Killing Uber bosses on T4 for farming uniques and mythic (uber) uniques.
Farming The Pit for XP and glyphs.
Farming Infernal Hordes for masterworking, loot, and XP.
Weekly Dark Citadel T4 Run.
Activities That Are Niche Or Less Relevant
World Bosses (only drops Unique Offering for Kurast activity). Mostly a waste of time.
Lilith kill – Only for those who have never killed her.
Helltide – Inferior to other content in every way.
Nightmare Dungeons – a waste of time.
This checklist and guide aim to help players streamline their gameplay and avoid wasting time on activities that don’t yield significant results.
Activities and Items to buy. We suggest.
Builds – covers the whole checklist, giving the player a working character quickly. This is the most profitable purchase in a matter of price/efficiency.
The Pit runs bulk purchases. This includes glyph leveling, paragon XP, and occasional greater affix item drops.
Boss Kills – all bosses drop uniques with a similar chance. Get weekly rewards.
