MWZ Mode: A New Way to Experience Call of Duty
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the latest game from CoD franchise. It offers a variety of game modes, such as Campaign, Multiplayer, and Warzone. However, one of the most exciting and innovative features of MW3 is the MWZ Mode, or Modern Warfare Zombies. In this mode, you and other players team up to fight against hordes of zombies and mercenaries in the open world of Urzikstan. You can complete missions, upgrade your weapons and operator, and extract with valuable items. MWZ Mode is inspired by both MW2’s DMZ mode and Cold War’s Outbreak mode, but with some unique features and challenges. In this essay, I will discuss some of the main aspects of MWZ Mode, such as the activities, rewards, and skins.
Activities in MWZ Mode
MWZ Mode is a PvE survival experience that can be played solo or with up to three other players. You can choose from a variety of operators, each with their own skills and perks. You can also customize your loadout with weapons, attachments, equipment, and killstreaks. You start the game by parachuting into a random location in Urzikstan, a fictional country in the Middle East. You can explore the map, loot buildings, and find vehicles. You can also interact with various NPCs, such as friendly rebels, hostile warlords, and mysterious agents. They can offer you missions, intel, or items.
Missions are optional objectives that you can complete to earn rewards and XP. They can range from simple tasks, such as collecting supplies or killing a target, to complex challenges, such as defending a base or escorting a convoy. Some missions are timed, while others are infinite. Some missions are cooperative, while others are competitive. You can choose to accept or decline any mission, but be careful, as some missions may have consequences or trigger events.
Events are random occurrences that can affect the gameplay and difficulty of MWZ Mode. They can be triggered by completing missions, reaching certain areas, or after a certain amount of time. Some examples of events are:
Zombie Invasion: A large wave of zombies spawns in the map, attacking both players and enemies. You can fight them off or avoid them, but be careful, as some zombies may have special abilities, such as exploding, sprinting, or spitting acid.
Mercenary Assault: A group of heavily armed mercenaries arrives in the map, hunting down players and enemies. They can use advanced weapons, such as snipers, RPGs, or helicopters. You can fight them back or hide from them, but be careful, as they may have backup or traps.
Nuclear Strike: A nuclear missile is launched at a random location in the map, creating a huge blast radius and radiation zone. You can try to escape the area or find shelter, but be careful, as the radiation can damage your health and equipment.
You can also extract from the map at any time, as long as you have enough money and a flare gun. You can call in a helicopter to pick you up and take you to safety. However, extracting is not easy, as you have to survive a countdown and fend off enemies and zombies. You can also choose to stay in the map and continue playing, but the longer you stay, the harder it gets.
Rewards in MWZ Mode
MWZ Mode offers a variety of rewards for playing and completing objectives. You can earn XP, money, and items. XP can be used to level up your operator, weapons, and skills. Money can be used to buy or upgrade items, such as armor, ammo, or killstreaks. Items can be used to enhance your gameplay, such as grenades, medkits, or perks.
You can also earn MWZ Tokens, a special currency that can be used to unlock exclusive content, such as skins, blueprints, or operators. MWZ Tokens can be earned by completing missions, events, or extracting. You can also find them in loot boxes or hidden locations.
Skins in MWZ Mode
MWZ Mode features a variety of skins that you can use to customize your operator and weapons. Skins can change the appearance, stats, and effects of your items. Some skins are cosmetic, while others are functional. Some skins are common, while others are rare or legendary. You can unlock skins by leveling up, completing challenges, or using MWZ Tokens.
Some of the most unique and interesting skins in MWZ Mode are:
- Zombie Slayer: A skin for your operator that makes you look like a zombie hunter. It gives you increased melee damage, resistance to zombie attacks, and a machete as a secondary weapon.
- Nuclear Winter: A skin for your weapon that makes it look like a nuclear device. It gives you increased damage, fire rate, and blast radius, but also increased recoil and weight.
- Rebel Leader: A skin for your operator that makes you look like a rebel leader. It gives you increased charisma, influence, and reputation, allowing you to recruit allies, negotiate with enemies, and access restricted areas.
