Deep Stone Crypt Raid

The Deep Stone Crypt raid is the latest raid in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, where players must infiltrate the mysterious facility below the surface of Europa and stop the Fallen from using its secrets. The raid has four main encounters, each with its own mechanics and challenges. The raid also rewards players with powerful weapons and armor, as well as a chance to get the exotic Rocket Launcher.

Crypt Security

The first encounter is Crypt Security, where players must use the Operator and Scanner augmentations to open the correct doors and destroy the fuses in the basement. The Operator can shoot the panels to open the doors, while the Scanner can see which fuses are glowing and need to be destroyed. Players must also deal with waves of enemies and Servitors that block the augment terminals.

Atraks-1, Fallen Exo

The second encounter is Atraks-1, Fallen Exo, where players must use the Operator, Scanner, and Suppressor augmentations to identify and damage the real Atraks-1 among its clones. The Scanner can see which clone is the real one, the Operator can shoot the vents to send the clones to space, and the Suppressor can stun Atraks-1 and prevent it from wiping the team. Players must also juggle the Nuclear Cores that drop from the clones and deposit them in the correct pods.

Descent (Jumping Puzzle)

The third encounter is Descent, where players must navigate a series of platforms and obstacles while avoiding the orbital debris and the freezing storm. Players must also use the augmentations to activate the switches and open the way to the next area. Along the way, players can find hidden chests and lore collectibles.

Taniks, Reborn (Nuclear Cores/Prevent Europa’s Destruction)

The fourth encounter is Taniks, Reborn, where players must use the augmentations and the Nuclear Cores to damage Taniks and prevent him from destroying Europa. The Operator can shoot the panels to spawn the cores, the Scanner can see which bins to deposit the cores, and the Suppressor can stun Taniks and disable the security drones. Players must also deal with Taniks’ attacks and the Abomination enemies that spawn.

Taniks, the Abomination

The final encounter is Taniks, the Abomination, where players must use the augmentations and the Nuclear Cores to damage Taniks and finish him off. The mechanics are similar to the previous encounter, but with some changes. The Operator can shoot Taniks to make him drop the cores, the Scanner can see which replication orbs to shoot, and the Suppressor can stun Taniks and reset the augmentations. Players must also deal with Taniks’ increased aggression and the Fallen Walkers that spawn.

DSC Exotic

The exotic weapon that can be obtained from the Deep Stone Crypt raid is Eyes of Tomorrow, a powerful rocket launcher that can fire a volley of six rockets and lock on multiple targets. It is a random drop from the final encounter of the Deep Stone Crypt raid, Taniks, the Abomination. It also has a unique perk that boosts the damage of the next volley when you kill at least four targets. This weapon is very versatile and effective in both PvE and PvP scenarios.
