Destiny 2 Into the Light is a completely free update for all players, bringing a new game mode, armor sets and refreshed beloved legendary weapons to the game. This content serves as an addition to Season of the Wish and prepares guardians for The Final Shape of Destiny 2, which was previously delayed. Gamers can get all the unique time-limited loot by participating in the new Onslaught activity and by boosting the rank of the new Arcite 99-40 and Lord Shaxx vendors in the Hall of Champions location.

The return of a once-legendary weapon

With Destiny 2 Into the Light update guardians acquire an improved version of once-legendary meta weapons. The developers showed us a fresh look at the guns that have been appearing in the Destiny universe since the original D1 campaign. Each of the weapons in the latest Brave arsenal has a new delightful appearance and a redesigned perk pool.

Onslaught Activity

Onslaught is a brand-new Into the Light PvE activity for 3 players where guardians defend the Advanced Defense Unit from the constantly flooding waves of enemies in The Last Safe City on Earth. The game mode has three possible locations, each with 10 waves of enemies that end with a boss battle on the Pyramid ship. By killing the enemies throughout the waves, guardians earn the Scraps currency, which is useful for enhancing defenses. Gamers use Scraps to buy sentry turrets, mines and decoys to optimize the battlefield and gain superiority over a enormous number of enemies.

Hall of Champions

Hall of Champions is a new social space at the Tower introduced with the Into the Light update of Destiny 2. The fresh location gives guardians access to the Arcite 99-40 vendor with the latest weapon quests, bounties and the first Superblack Key Omega for the shader. Additionally, the second vendor in the Hall of Champions is Lord Shaxx himself, offering Trophies of Bravery, Brave engrams and unlocks for the armor chests. Among the rewards from the lord of war is a second Superblack Key Alpha, granting access to the legendary true full black shader for customizing weapons and armor.
