Blizzard has recently unveiled additional insights into these rings, shedding light on their acquisition methods.
These Unique Malignant Rings can be encountered as random drops in World Tiers 3 or 4, accessible in both the Eternal Realm and the Seasonal Realm. However, the acquisition of these rings extends beyond mere chance encounters—players can actively pursue them by engaging in targeted farming within the Malignant Burrow beneath the Tree of Whispers, facing the Echo of Varshan. The five available rings, each tailored for a specific class, are beloved choices from the Season of the Malignant but have undergone adjustments to enhance game balance.
Despite the Developers’ current stance of not reintroducing all Season 1 Malignant Powers, they have emphasized receptiveness to feedback, hinting at the potential revival of other fan-favorite powers.
