Welcome, soldiers!
If you’ve already tried out the BO7 beta guns, you probably know that picking the right weapon is a whole science. While the official release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set for November 14, we can only draw conclusions based on the beta, which ran from October 2-8. We’ll break down the Black Ops 7 guns list, evaluate each weapon, and put together a rough tier list based on what players have already tested.
So grab a seat, switch off your auto-fire mode, and get ready to discover which BO7 guns are truly worth your time.
Before we jump into rankings and best gun BO7 beta debates, let’s go over what we actually had access to during the beta. Remember, the Call of Duty Black Ops 7 guns we tried in beta aren’t the full set that will be in the final game. So, think of this section as field notes from testers, not final verdicts.
Assault rifles are the bread and butter of multiplayer. No matter the distance, they are comfortable to use almost everywhere:
M15 MOD 0

MXR-17

Peacekeeper MK1

X9 Maverick

Reliable sidearms for quick swaps and finishing off enemies:
Jäger 45

CODA 9

Great for tearing through enemies at close to mid-range combat:
Dravec 45

Razor 9mm (also known as Ryden 45k in the beta files)

Graz 45k

Carbon 57

Rifles for accurate shots at medium and long distances:
M8A1

Deadly up close; one wrong turn and you’re toast:
M10 Breacher

Echo 12

Long-range killers that demand skill and patience:
VS Recon

XR-3 ION

For holding positions or blasting Scorestreaks:
MK.78 (LMG)

A.R.C. M1 (Launcher)

Close combat when bullets just won’t do:
Flatline MK.II

The BO7 beta best guns are the M8A1 and Dravec 45 – the M8A1 is accurate at long range, and the Dravec 45 works well at close to medium distances.
The Peacekeeper MK1 and Ryden 45k are effective in tight areas, and the VS Recon can take out an enemy with a single shot. Even with the limited beta, it’s clear which exemplars define the early meta.

Usage notes:
The beta shows how the guns work, but the full game will add new weapons and adjust the balance. Some guns, like Echo 12, weren’t in the beta, and the full AR class has six rifles. Ammo, recoil, and reload speeds may change, so the final BO7 guns list could look different.
Pick your best gun BO7 beta, and try it in the LepreStore bot lobby. This bot lobby is run by our players, letting you practice and level up your weapons in a controlled environment. All beta stats and skins are ready to test before the full game launches.
