Feat Challenges are optional raid modifiers, and adding them to your order is the most direct way to upgrade your rewards. Raid gear drops at Tier 3 by default – every active feat raises the chance of it upgrading to Tier 4 or Tier 5 with bonus Seasonal Power. Cutthroat Combat counts as two feats for loot, making it the best value pick.

The Desert Perpetual drops a dedicated loot pool you can’t get anywhere else in Destiny 2: an Exotic Rocket Launcher, six Legendary weapons (nine in Epic), and the first raid armor with set bonuses. None of the raid weapons are craftable — the only way to get them is to run the raid. Here’s what each part of your order can bring.

Whirling Ovation – Exotic Rocket Launcher

All raid weapons roll with the exclusive Frame of Reference Origin Trait – final blows temporarily boost damage, reload speed, and range, and the effect is frozen in time while the weapon is stowed. Collective Psyche Armor Set

A full 5-piece set per class and the first raid armor in Destiny 2 with set bonuses: Accretion (2 pieces) speeds up weapon swaps after ammo pickups, and Doppler Effect (4 pieces) extends Suspend, Sever, Radiant, and Restoration effects. The Epic version drops the enhanced Wayward Psyche set.
