Weekly Reset

Destiny 2 resets every Tuesday. Whether you’re chasing Pinnacles, clearing seasonal triumphs, or just stacking Bright Dust, each week is a new reason to log in.

Weekly content keeps the game fresh and keeps Guardian busy. You want to make sure you’re getting as much from the reset as you can, since the next opportunity to get a triumph or to farm for a desired dungeon set may be only in 4 weeks

Crucible may offer double rewards. Nightfall weapons rotate in and out. Some triumphs only unlock for this week. That’s the deal. You either stay on schedule or risk missing limited-time loot.

You don’t need to chase everything every week. But if you want progress, you’ll find it here. The best way to keep pace in Destiny 2 is to follow the weekly rhythm and track specific triumphs or challenges.

Xûr – The Friday Wild Card

Every Friday, Xûr shows up out of nowhere like he always does — with exotic loot, rolls, and mystery. He doesn’t stick around long. He disappears on Tuesday, right when the reset hits. Until then, you can find him in one of his usual hiding spots: the Tower Hangar, Nessus, or the Winding Cove.

Some weeks, he sells exotics you’ve been chasing for months. Other times, he shows up with random legendary rolls that are better than anything you’ve crafted. And yes, he also carries random catalysts each week.

If you’re hunting for missing gear or just want something new to play around with, don’t skip Xûr. He might surprise you.
