The Goons (Big Pipe, Birdeye, Knight) rotate between several maps: Customs, Woods, Shoreline, and Lighthouse. Their location changes every few hours, so they don’t stay in one place for long.
Are The Goons required for any quests?
Yes. For example, Birdeye must be killed for the “Stray Dogs” quest. Big Pipe also appears in quests requiring The Goons.
How strong are The Goons compared to other bosses?
They are very strong as a group. Big Pipe has ~910 HP; Birdeye ~795 HP. They use powerful weaponry: Big Pipe has a grenade launcher, Birdeye often spawns with sniper rifles, Knight with assault rifles.
