AION 2 Daily and Weekly Checklist

AION 2 Daily and Weekly Checklist preview with reset routine, daily tasks, weekly tasks, AP rewards, and dungeon progression

AION 2 has fewer true daily chores than its menus first suggest. The important part is knowing which counters refill, which weekly limits disappear at reset, and which resources stop growing when they hit their cap. If you track those three things, you can play around your own schedule instead of clearing every icon each day.

This checklist is for repeatable Global content. It does not include one-time map cleanup such as Regional Quests, Sealed Dungeons, Strongholds, or feathers.

What Resets Daily and What Resets Weekly

The Global client mixes daily refills, stored charges, and weekly limits. Nightmare adds attempts daily but lets you bank them. Duty quests do not: skip the day and those five quests are gone.

Activity Reset or Refill Cap / Entry Main Reward Priority by Goal
Duty Quests Daily 5 per day, server-shared Kina, stones, Odyle, keys, other rollable rewards High for every main
Odyle Energy 15 every 3 hours 560 base, 840 with Membership Opens dungeon reward cubes High if near cap
Shugo Festival +3 keys daily 12 base, 21 with Membership Centuryroot Tokens and event rewards High when keys are near cap
Nightmare +2 attempts daily Stores up to 14 Phantasmal Fragments and shop access High for solo growth and shop currency
Command Scrolls Weekly purchase limit 12 in the capital, additional Abyss scrolls Selected quest rewards, including AP routes High because purchases do not roll over
Ascension Trial Weekly 3 entries per character Upgrade materials and trial rewards High before reset
Daily Dungeon Weekly despite the name 14 runs, server-shared Enhancement and other growth materials High before reset
Expedition: Conquest Reward charge over time Current Global data stores up to 21 reward charges Gear, materials, Kina High for gear
Transcendence Reward charge over time Current Global data stores up to 14 reward charges Arcana and dungeon materials High for Arcana
Abyss Points Weekly capped pools Read the live Abyss UI counter Stigma Shards, Potential Stones, Daevanion items High for PvP and Stigma plans

Weekly counters reset on Wednesday in the current Global schedule. Use the in-game countdown for the exact hour on your region, especially around maintenance or daylight-saving changes.

Spend Odyle Energy Before It Caps

Odyle Energy does not pay for entry. It activates the reward cube after eligible Expedition, Transcendence, and Sanctuary clears. A normal cube claim costs 40 Odyle Energy.

On Global, Odyle Energy restores by 15 every three hours. The current base storage cap is 560, while Special Quai Membership raises it to 840. Once the stored bar reaches its cap, natural regeneration stops. That is the real reason to spend it regularly.

Do not spend Energy on the highest dungeon by default. Spend it where the reward solves your current problem. Use Conquest when gear is the wall. Use Transcendence when Arcana or its dungeon reward track matters more. If a higher tier will open soon, keeping part of the bar for that upgrade can be better than emptying it on content you are about to replace.

Goal Good Odyle Use Reason
Replace weak gear Relevant Conquest tier Targets gear and upgrade drops directly.
Build Arcana Transcendence Transcendence is the main Arcana dungeon track.
New tier almost unlocked Keep a reserve A stronger reward table may be available after the next gear breakpoint.
Energy almost capped Claim useful cubes now Any regeneration while capped is lost.

Duty Tasks and Command Scrolls

Duty is the part of the checklist that really is daily. At level 45, the Journal gives five Duty quests per day. The count is shared across the server, so doing them on an alt spends the same daily allowance your main would use. These quests do not bank for later.

Current Global data supports refreshing Duty reward options for Kina. Look for Odyle Energy, Hidden Cube keys, Daevanion Crystals, Enhancement Stones, or other materials you need. The refresh cost rises, so stop before a small upgrade becomes an expensive reroll.

Command Scrolls use a weekly purchase loop. The capital merchant currently offers 12 per week, shared across the server. The Abyss has its own Command Scroll options. The important rule is simple: buy the limited scrolls before the weekly reset. Purchased scrolls can be completed later, but an unused purchase allowance disappears when the shop refreshes.

Task Type Reset Main Reward Worth Doing For
Duty Quest 5 daily Selectable random reward set Odyle, keys, stones, Kina, board materials
Capital Command Scroll 12 purchases weekly Command quest rewards Extra weekly materials and targeted tasks
Abyss Command Scroll Weekly shop limit AP-focused quest rewards Abyss shop and PvP goals

Shugo Festival

Shugo Festival is recurring minigame content with its own reward keys and shop currency. On the current Global setup, you gain 3 keys per day and can store 12, or 21 with Special Quai Membership. Once the key storage is full, new daily refills are wasted.

The important currency is Centuryroot Token. The Global shop data includes Daevanion Crystals, Wisdom Stones, and Stigma Shards. That makes the shop a real choice rather than a list you should buy in one fixed order.

Buy First If Your Goal Is… Item Why
Raise the Daevanion Board Daevanion Crystal Feeds a broad board system that benefits the whole build.
Push a core Stigma breakpoint Stigma Shard Directly funds the Stigma skills you actually keep equipped.
Raise normal skills Wisdom Stone Feeds the separate Skill Point track.

The common question is Stigma Shards or Daevanion Points first. If a Stigma level changes an important skill, shards can be the better buy. If your Stigmas are already at useful breakpoints, Daevanion Crystals can give broader board value. Follow your build, not a fixed tier list.

Abyss Points and the Weekly AP Cap

Current Global AP sources include Abyss PvE and PvP, Arenas, Rift quests, and Duty or Command routes. The Abyss shop then turns AP into Stigma Shards, Potential Stones, Daevanion Crystals, medals, and other limited stock.

The Global client has weekly AP cap categories, but the numeric cap is server-controlled and is not safely exposed as one fixed number in the launch datamine. Do not copy the old KR figure of 200,000 PvE plus 200,000 PvP into a Global checklist. Read the live counter in the Abyss UI. Quest-based AP and some Supply Request rewards are handled outside the normal combat cap, which is another reason one single number can be misleading.

AP Source Frequency Counts Toward Cap? Notes
Abyss PvE / PvP Weekly play window Yes, by pool Main repeatable AP route.
Arenas Repeatable with reward limits Uses PvP reward rules Useful when open-world Abyss is inefficient.
Rift / quest AP Weekly or quest-based Some quest AP is exempt Do these before grinding capped sources.
Supply Requests As available Current Global checks report exemptions Good overflow source after normal capped play.

If AP is the part of the week you want to accelerate, see the current Abyss Points farming options.

Where Stigma Shards Fit Into the Week

On Global, one level-20 Stigma costs 75 Shards, so recurring sources matter quickly.

Source Reset Currency / Entry Shards or Fragments
Abyss Shop Shop limits Abyss Points Direct Stigma Shards
Nightmare Shop Seasonal shop stock Phantasmal Fragments Direct Stigma Shards
Shugo Festival Shop Shop stock Centuryroot Tokens Direct Stigma Shards
Party dungeon reward packages Depends on dungeon counter Dungeon clear / cube Can include Unstable Stigma Shards

Keep the terminology straight. Stigma Shard is the spendable upgrade item. Unstable Stigma Shard is a fragment-type material that can be turned into a full Shard through Substance Morph when that recipe is available. Check the reward preview before planning a week around fragments, because dungeon packages can change by tier.

Ascension Trials and Nightmare

Both systems are solo, but their counters differ. Ascension Trial gives three entries per character each week and spends an entry when you go in. If your gear is rising quickly, using those attempts later in the week can open a higher difficulty.

Nightmare works as a stored daily allowance. You gain two attempts per day and can hold up to 14. That means you do not need to run it every day, but sitting at 14 stops the counter from growing. Nightmare pays Phantasmal Fragments, which go into a shop that currently includes Daevanion Crystals, Stigma Shards, and Wisdom Stones.

Activity Attempts Main Currency / Reward Spend or Use
Ascension Trial 3 per week per character Trial upgrade materials Boards, gear-related materials, build resources depending on reward preview
Nightmare +2 daily, stores 14 Phantasmal Fragments Nightmare shop

For service routes, see Ascension Trials clears and Nightmare clears.

Expeditions and Transcendence

For Expeditions and Transcendence, clearing the dungeon and claiming its reward are separate decisions. Your weekly plan therefore depends on both reward charges and Odyle Energy.

Current Global client data gives Conquest a timed reward charge that refills by one every eight hours and stores up to 21. Transcendence refills more slowly, by one every 12 hours, and stores up to 14. A normal reward cube costs 40 Odyle Energy. These counters can change with patches, so the queue UI is the final check before reset.

Content Reward Cap Odyle Main Reward
Expedition: Conquest Stores up to 21 current reward charges 40 per normal cube claim Gear, materials, Kina
Transcendence Stores up to 14 current reward charges 40 per normal cube claim Arcana and dungeon materials

Use the AION 2 dungeons page when you need help with the dungeon side of the weekly loop. If the question is what those rewards actually do for your build, continue to what raises GS and Combat Power.

30-Minute, 60-Minute and Full-Reset Routine

Your weekly route depends on what is blocking the character. Protect expiring resets first, then spend time on the goal that matters now.

Time Available First Priorities Optional If Time Remains
30 minutes Finish 5 Duty quests, buy weekly Command Scrolls if reset is close, spend Odyle if near cap, use Nightmare or Shugo charges if capped. One useful dungeon claim or quick shop check.
60 minutes Do the 30-minute list, then spend weekly Ascension Trial or Daily Dungeon entries that will expire. AP quests, Nightmare clears, Transcendence or Conquest based on the current gear goal.
Full reset session Clear expiring weekly entries, spend capped currencies, use Odyle, buy limited shop stock, finish AP sources you still need. Push the chosen dungeon tier, extra Abyss play, ranking attempts, or other non-expiring goals.

The safest rule is simple: first protect anything that disappears at reset, then spend resources that stop regenerating at cap, then use the rest of your time on the system holding your character back. That keeps the checklist useful even when your class, gear target, or available playtime changes.
