Welcome to LEPRESTORE’S DPS TIER LIST FOR MYTHIC+ AND RAIDS IN SEASON 1 OF MIDNIGHT. Here you can see which specs perform the best and which classes deal the highest damage this season. This Midnight DPS tier list is updated for patch 12.0.5, which includes major balance updates and quality-of-life improvements across many classes. We keep the list updated with every important change, so check back for the latest rankings.
Our Midnight DPS tier list has two parts – one for Mythic+ and one for the raid environment.
This WoW DPS tier list Midnight, is designed to help players decide which specs are strongest for top Mythic+ teams. It SHOULD NOT BE THE MAIN REASON FOR CHOOSING YOUR CLASS or deciding who to invite to your group. The goal is not only to rank classes by damage numbers, but also by the value they bring to the table. We look at which specs help the group the most and which ones can shape the meta.
Damage is still the most important part for DPS specs. Classes with low damage, even if they have strong utility or good survivability, usually stay in lower tiers like B or C. Still, this season we also pay much more attention to survivability, because STAYING ALIVE IS VERY IMPORTANT IN MYTHIC+. Damage, utility, and survivability all matter, but DAMAGE REMAINS THE MAIN FACTOR because more serious damage output helps finish keys faster. We also look at damage type, such as strong single-target damage, funnel damage, and how well a spec performs in different situations. More damage also often means taking less damage because enemies die faster.
Raid buffs are very important in Midnight, especially for Mythic raid progression. Most classes have strong raid buffs that give big value to the whole group. If your raid is missing an important buff like Mystic Touch, Devotion Aura, Power Word: Fortitude, or Mark of the Wild, it is usually worth bringing that class, no matter where it stands in the tier list. These buffs also change the value of some specs depending on your healers and tanks. For example, if your raid already gets Power Word: Fortitude from a Holy or Discipline Priest, then Shadow Priest becomes less important. Our WoW Midnight DPS tier list takes this into account.
| Tiers | Description |
|---|---|
| S-Tier | These specs are expected to be the strongest choices in groups. They typically lead the damage charts and are often chosen multiple times in the same raid. They offer very high damage output, strong performance across various fights, and often provide useful utility or strong defensive tools. |
| A-Tier | These are excellent specs that perform very well. Most groups will want at least one of these specs unless a stronger option from the same class is already present. They usually excel in single-target damage and frequently bring valuable utility. |
| B-Tier | These specs are good options that can be included in many strong groups. They may be slightly behind A Tier in terms of damage or utility, but they remain solid and common choices. |
| C-Tier | These are mid specs that can work in certain setups, but they are not really popular. Some of them may perform better in specific fight types (like cleave or AoE) and become more valuable when encounter align with their strengths. |
| D-Tier | D-specs have clear issues in current content. They may work in rare cases, but they really struggle, particularly with single-target damage. |
| F-Tier | These have significant weaknesses and require major rebalancing by developers. |
At the moment, there are no DPS specs in D Tier or F Tier in our Midnight DPS tier list.
Our Mythic+ DPS tier list uses the in-game Mythic+ Score as the main ranking system. We take data from the official Blizzard leaderboard (logs), so every run is counted. The score shown for each spec is based on the 95th percentile, which helps show how the spec performs at a high level.
In our opinion, Mythic+ Score is a strong metric for measuring performance because pushing high keys requires more than just damage. Players also need good utility and strong survivability to succeed. But we already mentioned it earlier.
Enough talking, now let’s move to the most interesting part!
As you can see, Augmentation Evoker and Unholy Death Knight have made a strong return. At the same time, some unexpected specs are also sitting at the top, such as Assassination Rogue, Arms Warrior, and Feral Druid.
| Tiers | Specs |
|---|---|
| S-tier Mythic + DPS | Augmentation Evoker, Unholy Death Knight. |
| A-tier Mythic + DPS | Demonology Warlock, Devourer Demon Hunter, Assassination Rogue, Arms Warrior, Elemental Shaman, Feral Druid, Retribution Paladin. |

Pick your spec and feel free to test it with our M+Boost Service. No stress runs, loot traders, start within 10 minutes. Best way to try something new!
In our opinion, throughput is the most useful metric because it shows how much raw damage or a spec can do. However, as we mentioned before, player skill is always more important than any ranking. Remember this at all times!
| Tiers | Specs |
|---|---|
| S-tier Raid DPS | Frost Mage, Demonology Warlock, Unholy Death Knight, Devourer Demon Hunter. |
| A-tier Raid DPS | Retribution Paladin, Beast Mastery Hunter, Augmentation Evoker, Elemental Shaman, Fury Warrior, Balance Druid, Subtlety Rogue, Shadow Priest, Marksmanship Hunter, Windwalker Monk, Survival Hunter, Arms Warrior, Havoc Demon Hunter, Destruction Warlock. |

| C-tier Raid DPS | Arcane Mage. |
The new Devourer Demon Hunter stays one of the strongest raid specs and remains on top of the current meta. Augmentation Evoker is also still a very strong choice for raid groups (good team required).
If you have not tried the new Devourer Demon Hunter yet, we strongly recommend testing it in our raids. Check our Raid Event Calendar, choose your raid, and book your spot. Many runs, loot funnel support, and a smooth environment to enjoy your new spec.
The Midnight DPS meta is still changing, and more balance updates will come. Some specs are already leading in Mythic+ and raids, while others may rise after future patches. But we want you to remember one of the most important truths in WoW history. The best choice is always a class you enjoy and can play well. Still, knowing the strongest specs helps if you want to chase for the best results. Keep an eye on updates, test different builds, and stay ready for meta changes. Good luck!
