WoW Midnight Season 1 PvP rewards split into two tracks: a rating ladder that hands out the Elite transmog set and prestige cosmetics piece by piece as you climb, and seasonal win grinds for the two mounts. This is the full list — every reward, the exact rating or win count it takes to unlock it, and which ones are realistic to self-push versus not worth the time.
When Season 2 kicks in, every reward here stops being obtainable and your rating resets to the floor for a new ladder. If a title or the set is on your list, the ladder is the slowest part of the whole checklist and the one to start first.
| Rank | Rating | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Combatant I | 1,000 | “Combatant” title, cloak |
| Combatant II | 1,200 | Legs, bracers |
| Challenger I | 1,400 | “Challenger” title, gloves, boots |
| Challenger II | 1,600 | Chest, belt |
| Rival I | 1,800 | “Rival” title, shoulders, helm — Elite set complete |
| Rival II | 1,950 | Galaxy weapon illusion |
| Duelist | 2,100 | “Duelist” title, Galactic Gladiator’s Prestigious Cloak |
| Elite | 2,400 | “the Elite” title, Galactic Gladiator’s Tabard |
The full Elite armor set is complete at Rival I, 1,800 rating. That is the breakpoint most collectors care about. Above it, the Galaxy weapon illusion at 1,950 and the Galactic Gladiator’s Tabard at Elite are the pieces people actually notice on your character.
Trying to pug the full ladder is tedious and horrendous. Every bracket becomes another wall, Midnight’s slower fights punish mistakes harder, and the LFG tool keeps handing you the same coin-flip teammates that cost you rating in the first place. You climb 50 points and slide back 60.
We can complete the Elite set or push the tabard rating either through piloted play while you are at work or through selfplay alongside our team on voice comms. Either way, the rating moves up instead of sideways, and you are not re-queuing into the same wall for a week.
Season 1 has two rated PvP mounts. Both require a large number of wins, but the difference is where those wins must come from. The Vicious Snaplizard only needs you to stay above the minimum rating, while the Galactic Gladiator’s Goredrake requires wins at Elite.
The Vicious Snaplizard ignores your rating after the minimum floor. Win rated PvP matches at 1,000 rating or higher to fill the Season Rewards bar — approximately 80 rated 3v3 wins or 40 wins in Rated Battlegrounds, with Solo Shuffle wins also contributing.
There is no major rating wall, but 80 wins still means dozens of hours in the queue. Losses do not move the reward bar, so a bad night is time you never get back. If you want the mount variants on both factions, you must complete the grind twice.
That is why the Vicious mount is often the reward players leave until there are not enough evenings left. We farm the wins on your character, including both Alliance and Horde variants when selected, and return the character with the mount earned.
Requirement: Rated PvP wins at 1,000+ rating.
Estimated wins: Around 80 in rated 3v3 or 40 in Rated Battlegrounds.
Best for: Mount collectors who do not want to spend dozens of hours in rated queues.
The Galactic Gladiator’s Goredrake is the prestige PvP mount, and it is the difficult one. You must reach Elite in rated 3v3 and then win 50 games while remaining at that rank.
You cannot touch Elite once and coast through the rest of the requirement. Every loss at the top can drag you back into the rating climb, turning the mount into weeks of maintaining a level most players cannot reach alone.
Our boosters play at this rating every season. They take your character to Elite and complete the required 50 wins, earning the Gladiator title and Goredrake instead of leaving you to fight for Elite night after night.
Requirement: Elite rank in 3v3 plus 50 wins at that rank.
Included reward: Gladiator title and Galactic Gladiator’s Goredrake.
Difficulty: One of the hardest seasonal PvP rewards.
Both Season 1 PvP mounts become unobtainable when the season ends and do not return in Season 2.
Above the normal rating rewards sit the titles that show where you actually finished. Some require wins after reaching Elite, while the rarest titles depend on your final ladder placement. This makes them the hardest rewards to recover when the season is almost over.
The top-0.1% titles are placement-based, so eligibility closes the instant the season ends. Our boosters push Rank 1 titles in every rated mode each season, which is the only realistic late-season route without committing an entire season of your own ladder time.
The same rating ladder can be climbed through several modes, but the seasonal titles and mount requirements are tied to specific brackets. Pick the mode that matches the reward you are chasing, not simply the one you are most used to playing.
| Mode | Team Format | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 2v2 / 3v3 Arena | 2v2 or 3v3 | Rating, the Elite set, the Goredrake in 3v3, and the Gladiator title |
| Solo Shuffle | 3v3 solo queue | Rating, Legend, and Galactic Legend without forming a premade team |
| Battleground Blitz | 8v8 solo queue | Rating, Strategist, Galactic Marshal, and Galactic Warlord |
| Rated Battlegrounds | 10v10 | Objective-based PvP, a separate title line, seasonal wins, and additional currency |
Solo Shuffle is one of the most approachable rated modes because it does not require a premade team, but the queue and round requirements make it extremely time-consuming. If you are chasing the Snaplizard progress bar or a mid-ladder title, a coordinated Arena or Battleground group can be much faster.
PvP equipment runs on its own progression track. It scales to a fixed PvP item level the moment you enter Arenas and Battlegrounds, which means even fresh Honor pieces remain useful in rated matches.
Galactic Aspirant Honor gear gets your character into rated PvP, while Galactic Gladiator Conquest gear is the seasonal equipment ceiling.
Starter gear: Galactic Aspirant equipment purchased with Honor.
Best PvP gear: Galactic Gladiator equipment purchased with Conquest.
Reaching 1,600 PvP rating completes one of the three available paths toward Champion of the Dawn. The other routes are reaching 2,000 Mythic+ rating or defeating Midnight Falls on Heroic or Mythic difficulty.
You only need to complete one path, so a PvP rating push you are already planning can unlock Champion of the Dawn along the way. The complete cross-content breakdown is available in our WoW Midnight Season 1 End checklist.
The rating ladder is the slowest part of the Season 1 checklist, so it should be the first reward path you decide on. If an Elite set piece, mount, or title caught your attention, start with that requirement now rather than leaving the entire climb for the final weeks.
If you are completing more than one Season 1 reward, the Season End Bundle gives you 7% off two or more selected services. Orders are available through piloted, selfplay, or remote selfplay modes, with available teams starting within 15 minutes.
WoW Midnight Season 1 PvP rewards are split across two tracks. Rating breakpoints give the Elite transmog set, which is complete at 1,800, the Galaxy weapon illusion at 1,950, the Prestigious Cloak at 2,100, and the Tabard plus Elite title at 2,400. Seasonal wins reward the Vicious Snaplizard and Galactic Gladiator’s Goredrake, while top-0.1% ladder finishes award the Galactic seasonal titles.
The armor pieces unlock gradually as you climb, and the full Elite PvP set is complete at Rival I, which requires 1,800 rating. The prestige cosmetics sit higher: the Galaxy weapon illusion at 1,950, the Galactic Gladiator’s Prestigious Cloak at Duelist or 2,100, and the Tabard plus “the Elite” title at 2,400.
The Galactic Gladiator’s Goredrake is the Gladiator mount earned by reaching Elite and winning 50 rated 3v3 games at that rank. “Galactic Gladiator” is a separate and much rarer title awarded for finishing the season in the top 0.1% of the 3v3 ladder. The title is based on final placement rather than reaching one fixed rating.
No. The seasonal rank rewards close when the rating ladder resets. Placement-based titles such as Galactic Gladiator, Galactic Legend, Galactic Marshal, and Galactic Warlord lock when the season ends and cannot be farmed afterward.
No. The Elite set, weapon illusion, cloak, tabard, both mounts, and seasonal titles stop being obtainable when Season 2 begins. A new reward set replaces them on a new ladder, and your PvP rating resets.
Yes. Reaching 1,600 PvP rating is one of the three qualifying paths. The other options are reaching 2,000 Mythic+ rating or defeating Midnight Falls on Heroic or Mythic difficulty. You only need to complete one path.
