Mission Clears Or A Set Amount Of Weapon Parts?
Choose Horde Missions to complete Blitz, Siege or Horde on the difficulty you select. You receive the Class XP, Player XP and Weapon Parts earned and kept during those successful missions. This offer buys completed runs, not a fixed class level or a fixed number of Parts.
Choose Weapon Parts when you need an amount of Parts to spend on unlocked Weapon Mods. Select 5–250 Parts in steps of 5. The order adds the amount you buy to your existing balance; it does not set your final balance to that number. Buying and equipping the mods is separate.
Which Horde Siege Playlist Should You Choose?
Blitz is the shorter mission type, with one or two main objectives. Siege combines several objectives across the map. Horde asks your squad to defend one R.I.G. against ten waves of Locust.
Horde Missions offers packages of 10, 20 or 30 total waves. These mean one, two or three separate ten-wave missions, not a single match with 20 or 30 waves. Quantity counts complete packages for Horde, and individual missions for Blitz or Siege.
Do You Need Class Levels Before Weapon Parts?
Class levels unlock Weapon Mods; Weapon Parts pay for them. If the mod you want still needs a higher class level, buying Parts alone will not unlock it. Choose Class Leveling for Assault, Breacher, Marksman or Medic when that level requirement is the work you need.
Your class also matters when choosing mission difficulty. The game recommends class levels 10–20 for Infantry, 20–30 for Commander and level 30 for Allfather. These are readiness recommendations, not levels included with a mission order. Raising your account's Player Level does not raise your Horde class.
How Do You Keep The Parts You Collect?
At least one squad member must successfully extract and complete the mission for the squad to keep its collected Weapon Parts. Parts farming counts the Parts added to your balance after successful missions. Squad Perks expire at the end of a mission, and Energy buys in-session equipment and upgrades rather than adding to your Weapon Parts balance.
Self-play Or Piloted?
Horde Missions offers Self-play, where you control your character alongside a pro, or Piloted, where the pro completes the missions on your account while you are offline. Weapon Parts farming is Piloted-only. Both offers support Xbox and Steam. Piloted requires account access, and Microsoft's account terms restrict sharing credentials.
Need A Bundle Or Hourly Teammates?
Compare the Grub Killer Bundle for leveling all four Horde classes, raising Player Level and modding weapons together. Choose Gears For Hire for hourly help instead of a fixed number of mission clears or Parts. For other services, return to Gears of War: E-Day boosting.
