How E-Day Placements Work
Ranked Opens On October 13
Versus Ranked opens on October 13, 2026. Placement matches cannot be completed before its playlists open.
One Playlist Per Order
Each Ranked playlist has its own rank and skill rating. A placement order covers the initial three matches in one selected playlist, not every Ranked mode.
Rank And Skill Division
After placements, the game assigns both your Rank and Skill Division. Rank tracks your progress through that playlist’s ladder. Skill Division reflects your skill relative to other players and helps determine matchmaking.
The purchased result is completion of placements. A specific starting rank, three wins or a fixed rating increase is not guaranteed.
Before Your Placement Matches
- Gears of War: E-Day and access to online Versus multiplayer.
- Access to the selected Ranked playlist after it opens on October 13.
- No initial Rank assigned in that playlist.
