BO7 Field Upgrades Boost Guide

Select the Item and Its Augments

Available field upgrade choices include Dark Flare, Frenzied Guard, Aether Shroud, Healing Aura, Energy Mine, Toxic Growth. Select the item first, then the upgrades you want for it. A single chosen Augment is not a full-research package for every item.

How Research Progresses

The booster selects the research item and earns the XP needed to reach the purchased Augment. Earlier research steps can unlock along the way.

Extra Slot and Your In-Match Build

Full research of an item’s eight Augments opens its Extra Slot research. Once unlocked, the additional Minor slot lets you equip two Minor Augments with one Major Augment for that item.

An Extra Slot selection is that research unlock, not a ninth combat Augment. Equip your unlocked Augments in your Zombies loadout. The purchase is a research unlock, not a permanently active in-match item.
