Flawless RunThe team clears the whole incursion without any agent being downed for the flawless mask reward. The backpack trophy requires a flawless final-boss kill; that kill alone does not unlock the mask.
Number of RunsChoose the number of full Broken Rain clears. Additional runs provide more drop attempts, not a guaranteed Steel & Sons ACR.
Selfplay (Sherpa)Join the squad and play on your own account. Without this extra, a booster completes the order on your account in piloted mode.

Frequently asked questions

Is Broken Rain the Same Thing as Steel Creek?
Yes and no. Broken Rain is the name of the incursion, while Steel Creek is where it takes place: the hydroelectric dam and power station shown in the Year 8 trailer. Some early coverage used the location as the name, which is why both terms are floating around.

Do I Need the Warlords of New York Expansion?
No. Broken Rain is free for players who own The Division 2 and have a level 40 agent. You do not need Warlords of New York or another paid DLC to enter the incursion.

What Are Loot Traders and How Do They Work?
Loot Traders are teammates who share eligible loot obtained during your run. Broken Rain is a four-player incursion, so at most three other players can share loot with your agent. Only items the game allows them to share can be transferred; not every reward is tradeable. This option does not guarantee a fixed number of items or the Steel & Sons ACR. Choose Guaranteed Exotic if obtaining the rifle is your goal.

Which Rewards Does a Flawless Run Unlock?
Flawless Run covers a flawless clear of the entire incursion for the mask. The backpack trophy is awarded for a flawless final-boss kill. A flawless final-boss kill alone does not unlock the mask.
