What Comes With an Escalation Run

Get every Prototype drop in the squad handed to you with the Loot Traders x4 option.

  • Any Escalation tier cleared, Tier 1 to Tier 10
  • Up to 35 Prototype items per run with x4 traders
  • Escalation Tokens earned as a group member
  • Lots of XP for SHD and Season Pass
  • All materials and exotic components from the run
Loot Traders is a scale, not a switch — x1 is the base option where you keep only your own drops. x2 adds one trader who hands you theirs, x3 adds two, and x4 puts the whole squad on it, so every Prototype drop in the run goes to you..
Trust & Safety

Is the Escalation Boost Safe?

Selfplay is what we recommend here, and not only for account reasons: staying in the squad is also what lets you receive the traded loot directly.

Selfplay keeps your login You join our squad and run the mission with us. Nothing about the order touches your credentials.
Region-matched VPN on piloted If our booster logs in instead, the connection matches your region rather than a random location.
500+ Escalation runs, 0 bans Our record on this mode since Year 8 Season 1.
Screened before and after Boosters pass a qualification test to join, then stay on the roster only while random test purchases come back clean.
Loot Traders

How Loot Traders x4 Works

Escalation drops Prototype gear per player, so on a normal run three of the four drops belong to somebody else. Each trader you add moves one of those shares to you.

Option Who trades to you Your share of the squad’s Prototype drops Best for
x1 (base) Nobody, you keep your own drops Your own drops only A single clear when you need the tier done rather than farmed
x2 You plus 1 loot trader Roughly double a solo share Topping up a build that is missing one or two slots
x3 You plus 2 loot traders Roughly triple a solo share Serious farming without paying for the full squad
x4 You plus 3 loot traders, the whole squad Everything the run drops, 25 to 35 items at Tier 10 Chasing god rolls, where volume is the only thing that helps

Prototype attributes roll up to 1.5 times higher than High-End gear, and the lowest possible Prototype roll matches the maximum roll on normal gear. That makes a god roll a numbers problem, and each trader you add multiplies the numbers you get from one token entry.

Why the Best Gear in the Game Only Drops Here

Prototype is the top item tier in The Division 2, above High-End, Named and Gear Set. Ubisoft describes the change simply: the old maximum attribute value becomes the new minimum, and the new maximum reaches up to 1.5 times higher. Every piece also carries an Augment, a passive effect pulled from a shared pool, so any Prototype item can roll any Augment and they stack across all six slots.

The catch is that Prototype items cannot be recalibrated or optimized. Whatever attributes appear on the drop are locked in permanently, and the Augment is the only part you can change afterwards. A god roll is therefore something you find, not something you build, which makes the number of items you see the only lever you control.

Rerolling those Augments needs Prototype Cores, and Cores come mainly from dismantling Prototype gear. A large haul feeds itself: the pieces you do not keep become the currency for improving the ones you do.

Why Tier 10 Is Hard to Farm Without Tier 10 Gear

Escalation scales enemies far past Heroic. By Tier 10 they carry around 800% of baseline health and armour while dealing 550% damage, and the way those two numbers separate matters. Enemy damage stops climbing after Tier 9, while health and armour keep rising. Tier 10 is a damage check more than a survival check, which is exactly what Prototype gear is built to answer.

Mutators close the gap the other way. At Tier 10 the Harvester mutator lets enemies regenerate armour and health off 75% of your maximum armour every time they hit you, so a squad that cannot burst through a health bar simply watches it refill. The community answer is to bring Augments before you go, usually two stacks of Quantum and one Amalgam. Those Augments come from Prototype gear, and Prototype gear comes from Tier 10.

Tokens make the loop expensive rather than just slow. Entry costs 87 tokens, there are no checkpoints, and a wipe at the final boss burns the deposit. Tokens also reset each season, so saving them until your build is ready is not a plan.

Here is how the curve looks across the ladder:

Tier Enemy health & armour Enemy damage
Tier 1 160% 150%
Tier 5 350% 350%
Tier 10 800% 550%
