WoW Turbo Boost Event Overview

WoW Turbo Boost event is Blizzard’s way to help you gear your alts and make your main character more powerful to defeat the strongest allies of Xal’atath. Turbo Boost, the returning event from Season 2 of the current add-on, helps players to make their characters ready for Midnight. The WoW Turbo Boost event includes a new reward system, increased drop rate of Warbound gear, upgrades to Heroic and Mythic tracks of gear. The changes will affect all your Warband. Puzzling Cartel Chips

New vendors will appear in the WoW Turbo Boost event, along with two weekly quests. The quests will reward you with Puzzling Cartel Chips. It is a currency known in previous expansions as “Dinar” that is used to buy Heroic and Mythic gear from raids and Mythic Plus dungeons. You can earn up to 9 Dinars throughout the whole time of your WoW Turbo Boost per character.

In order to buy the Heroic track item from raids, you need to kill the boss that drops it at least on Normal difficulty. However, if you want to get an item from Mythic raid in the WoW Turbo Boost event, you need to kill that boss on specifically Mythic difficulty at least once. Item Upgrade Track Boost

For the rest of TWW Season 3, Heroic and Mythic track gear will have two additional levels, increasing from 6 to 8 possible upgrades. Although it can sound generous, you still need to get more Crests to make these upgrades in the WoW Turbo Boost event. Gilded Ethereal Crests are needed to upgrade both of the gear types 717 and 729 licks respectively, and obtaining them is only possible in high-level M+ dungeons or by killing Mythic raid bosses.

Secondly, a weekly cap for all types of Ethereal crests is removed, so you can get an unlimited amount of them during the week. Turbo Boosted Delves

Delves are getting a significant enhancement during the event. You get the buffed experience gain for the Delver’s Journey bar during WoW Turbo Boost. Moreover, in the WoW Turbo Boost event, developers increased the Valorstone and Crest drop rate from Delves. They have also added Warbound Champion track gear as a possible drop in the high-level Delves. Crafted Gear & Catalysts During Turbo Boost

But there are also other significant changes. Finally, during WoW Turbo Boost, you will notice changes to crafted gear and the Catalyst Charges newly introduced as items. First of all, any piece of crafted gear can be upgraded by 6 item levels through Recraft. To do that in the WoW Turbo Boost event, you need to buy a Gilded Augmentation Matrix for 30 Gilded Crests and put it into a new special Recraft slot. And if you need more Tier Set pieces for your character, Blizzard decided to help you through the drop Catalyst Charges. Usually, these were given to you automatically every few weeks, but this will change in the WoW Turbo Boost event. Charges are used to transform a piece of regular gear into a Tier Set item for that slot. It can be helpful to get the Tier Set bonuses or change your overall secondary stats during WoW Turbo Boost. From now on, they can drop from Mythic+ dungeons, Manaforge Omega raids, rated PvP content, and even Delves!
