WoW Forever Supply Faction Reputation Guide

wow-forever-best-settings

To earn reputation with the Azeroth Commerce Authority (Alliance) or Durotar Supply and Logistics (Horde) in WoW Forever, complete your one-time Shipping Label introduction, turn in Craftsman’s Writs, and use Forged Delivery Receipts on empty Waylaid Crates once you reach Friendly. Ordinary filled crates primarily earn Merchant’s Favor, not repeatable faction reputation. This is the distinction that saves you the most wasted time and materials.

The two supply organizations use the same basic progression system. Your standing unlocks selected recipes and collectibles; Merchant’s Favor is the separate currency you spend at their vendors. This guide explains the reputation route, daily limits, rank requirements, costs and common mistakes. Details reflect the October 2026 Forever beta (client 1.60.1) ahead of the planned November 4 launch, so check the in-game quest and vendor before a large purchase.

Supply Faction Reputation at a Glance

Your questionPractical answer
Which faction?Alliance: Azeroth Commerce Authority. Horde: Durotar Supply and Logistics.
First reputation?Shipping Label introduction: 2,000 reputation and 50 Merchant’s Favor once per character in recorded beta data.
Main repeatable reputation sourceCraftsman’s Writs: 75 (Journeyman), 125 (Expert) or 200 (Artisan) reputation per completed order.
Alternative from FriendlyForged Delivery Receipt plus an empty Waylaid Crate: 50 reputation for 15 Merchant’s Favor per receipt, before the crate’s own cost.
What do filled Sealed Crates give?Merchant’s Favor, mainly for vendor purchases. Do not count every filled-crate hand-in as a 50-point reputation turn-in.
Important unlocksFriendly for some profession recipes and empty-crate returns; Honored for Advertising License and the Writ-reroll tool; Revered for the Minimule pet; Exalted for the faction tabard and current Pack Kodo eligibility.

Pick the rank you actually need. A Friendly recipe does not justify an Exalted grind. If you already have enough Merchant’s Favor but a vendor still refuses the sale, check the required reputation and profession skill before buying more crates.

Where Are the Alliance and Horde Supply Camps?

The camps are not in the capital cities. Travel to the camp for the introductory quest, profession merchants, the empty-crate return, and reward purchases. In later visits, group errands so you do not cross the continent for a single receipt.

Coordinate tip: some older map listings put the Horde camp marker near 42, 34 rather than the recorded NPC positions around 50, 29. Use the NPC’s name and the western Crossroads exit to confirm you reached the current trade camp instead of blindly following an old pin. Alliance players can start from the Elwynn/Redridge/Duskwood road junction.

Step 1: Claim the Shipping Label Reputation Bonus

  1. While leveling, obtain a Waylaid Crate from an outdoor drop or another player. The beta also reports that beginning a Craftsman’s Writ can expose the introduction.
  2. If filling a crate, check its accepted material bundles. Complete one valid bundle, not every alternative listed in the description.
  3. Use the resulting Shipping Label to start the introductory quest and visit the correct faction camp.
  4. Hand it in and confirm your reputation bar. Recorded beta rewards are 2,000 reputation and 50 Merchant’s Favor.

The Shipping Label reward is one-time per character. A player starting at the bottom of Neutral normally needs only another 1,000 reputation for Friendly after this introduction. Do not multiply the 2,000-point bonus by the number of crates you plan to submit.

Step 2: Farm Reputation with Craftsman’s Writs

Craftsman’s Writs are manufacturing and delivery orders. Find a sealed writ envelope in the world or buy a suitable one from another player. Opening it reveals an order. Acquire the item, travel to the named customer shown by the quest, and submit the goods along with the writ. You receive reputation and a Coin Pouch. A Writ does not award Merchant’s Favor.

Writ tierBase reputationRecorded distinct ordersBest when…
Journeyman7545The requested crafted item is cheap and the customer lies near your current leveling route.
Expert12560You can obtain a suitable item at reasonable cost and group several deliveries in one zone.
Artisan20045The higher-level item, your character’s level and the required trip all make economic sense.

Each specific Writ quest is flagged as daily in recorded beta data. You can complete different Writ quests on the same day; the rule is not “only one Writ total per day.” Duplicates of a Writ you already completed that day are not a reliable shortcut. Check the available quest and reset on your own realm before buying stacks of duplicates.

Do You Need the Matching Profession?

No. You may craft the requested item yourself or obtain the finished item from the Auction House. The quest needs its named item and the Writ, not proof you personally made it. A player leveling Herbalism and Mining can still complete a Tailoring delivery by buying the required clothing. Always check the exact quantity and whether the item is tradeable before purchasing the Writ.

A Practical Daily Writ Circuit

  1. Check the rewards first. Calculate which standing you still need, then compare the next day’s available 75-, 125- and 200-point Writs.
  2. Price the complete order. Add the Writ purchase and required item or crafting materials. Do not compare only the paper Writ’s price.
  3. Group delivery locations. The beta client lists customers in zones including Arathi Highlands, Stonetalon Mountains, Ashenvale, Hillsbrad Foothills, Thousand Needles and Stranglethorn Vale. A group of nearby deliveries is often more efficient than chasing the largest reputation number across several continents.
  4. Carry the Writ and goods together. Open the quest before traveling and follow its mapped delivery. Some beta customers accept the order without a normal yellow question mark, so interact with the correct NPC when your quest says the goods are ready.
  5. Record completed Writ names. Avoid paying for a duplicate order before its next eligible reset.

Useful route examples from beta records: Elixir of Wisdom has a listed customer in Arathi Highlands (Mugor Kazuki); Elixir of Lesser Agility points to Ziz Fizziks in Stonetalon Mountains; and Lesser Mana Potion points to Asharali in Ashenvale. These are examples of destination clustering, not three compulsory quests for every player. Match the order to the item and destination shown in your own quest log.

Efficiency formula: total cost of Writ + requested item or reagents, minus any actual Coin Pouch return, divided by reputation earned. Compare that with the cost of an empty-crate return below. Add travel time when choosing what is truly fastest.

Step 3: Use Empty Waylaid Crates for Reputation After Friendly

At Friendly, the faction’s Uncertified Scribe offers an additional reputation route. This is often the most important unlock for a player who has saved Merchant’s Favor and can buy cheap empty crates.

  1. At the Alliance camp, find Dianne Softstep; at the Horde camp, find Kurvelk Shadowhoof.
  2. Buy a Forged Delivery Receipt for 15 Merchant’s Favor in current beta data.
  3. Use the receipt on an empty Waylaid Crate, creating a Notarized Shipping Container.
  4. Submit the notarized container to your faction’s usual shipment NPC for 50 base reputation.

Do not fill this crate with materials first. A forged empty-crate reputation return and a normal sealed-crate Favor turn-in are different transactions. One spends Favor and a crate to get standing; the other spends materials and a crate to earn Favor. The normal crate’s value is therefore an opportunity cost of the receipt route.

At Honored: the same scribes offer Forger’s Quill for 15 Merchant’s Favor. It replaces an unwanted Craftsman’s Writ with a random order from the same tier. It is not a guaranteed cheaper delivery, higher rank or way around a daily quest restriction.

How Much Reputation Do You Need for Friendly, Honored and Exalted?

Using the normal WoW reputation ladder and assuming you begin at the bottom of Neutral, the milestones are 3,000 for Friendly, 9,000 for Honored, 21,000 for Revered and 42,000 for Exalted. The table also shows what remains after a full 2,000-point Shipping Label introduction with no other progress.

Target standingTotal reputation from NeutralStill needed after Shipping LabelTypical reason to stop
Friendly3,0001,000Access to selected mid-level patterns and Forged Delivery Receipts.
Honored9,0007,000Higher-level recipe gates, Advertising License and Forger’s Quill.
Revered21,00019,000Packmule Treat / Minimule pet eligibility.
Exalted42,00040,000Faction tabard and current Pack Kodo reputation requirement.

Your actual balance can be different if you have already earned reputation, have a racial reputation bonus or begin at another standing. Use your character’s current reputation bar when planning. A boost or a vendor purchase should target the remaining standing, not automatically the full 42,000-point journey.

How Many Forged Receipts Do You Need?

These are the costs only if you completed the entire rank-to-rank segment using 50-reputation empty-crate returns after Friendly. They exclude purchasing the empty crates and do not account for Writs, bonuses or server-side changes.

Rank segmentReputation requiredEmpty crates and receiptsMerchant’s Favor spent on receipts
Friendly → Honored6,0001201,800
Honored → Revered12,0002403,600
Revered → Exalted21,0004206,300
Friendly → Exalted total39,00078011,700

This is why a full receipt-only Exalted run can be expensive. If you start just below Friendly, reach Friendly with Writs first, then decide how much of the remaining grind should come from receipts. A 200-point Artisan Writ replaces four 50-point returns in reputation terms, but whether it is cheaper depends on the item, delivery trip and Writ price.

What Is the Fastest Supply Faction Reputation Strategy?

There is no universally cheapest or fastest answer without your realm’s prices and your current level. Use this decision table rather than blindly buying whichever crate has the highest Favor payout.

SituationBetter starting choiceCheck before committing
You have not done Shipping Label.Introduction first. The one-time 2,000 reputation avoids a long early Writ grind.Whether the introduction has already completed on this character.
You are Neutral and need Friendly for a recipe.Cheap Writs on your existing route. Receipts require Friendly, so they cannot be your first source.Order quest level, target customer, materials and today’s repeat limit.
You are Friendly with spare Favor and low-price crates.Consider Forged Delivery Receipts. A local camp loop may save long-distance trips.15 Favor plus crate value per 50 reputation versus your Writ alternatives.
You can acquire several inexpensive higher-tier Writs.Batch Writ deliveries. 125/200 reputation may beat repetitive crate purchases.Full material bill, daily uniqueness and distance between customers.
You only need Honored or a single profession pattern.Stop at the requirement. Save time and Favor for the desired item.Exact recipe, profession skill and standing on the live vendor.

For a DIY route, reserve a little Merchant’s Favor for purchases even when most of your time is spent on reputation. If you need more currency, our Merchant’s Favor Farming Guide compares completed-crate materials and their cost per Favor. That is a separate decision from the reputation math here.

Supply Faction Rewards: Which Standing Is Worth Reaching?

Reputation usually unlocks the right to buy; it does not hand you the vendor item for free. Most of the rewards below also require Merchant’s Favor, and crafted items may have a profession-skill requirement. The table reflects October beta vendor data rather than guaranteed launch stock.

GoalReputation / other gateMerchant’s FavorWhy players choose it

Profession certification / related titleLevel 300 skill in the relevant crafting profession1,000 per certificationCharacter or account title collection; check the relevant profession’s requirements.

Do not grind Exalted for a recipe that only needs Friendly. Check the exact recipe at the vendor and decide whether a reputation rank, additional Merchant’s Favor, or a higher profession skill is the remaining blocker. If the Pack Kodo is your goal, our WoW Forever Mounts Guide covers the riding and collection context without confusing mount eligibility with supply-faction currency farming.

Common Problems and How to Fix Them

My filled crates give Favor but no reputation

That is consistent with the recorded Forever system. Filled and Sealed Crates are used for Merchant’s Favor. Follow Writ quests for repeatable reputation, or buy Forged Delivery Receipts at Friendly to return empty crates for reputation.

My Writ customer has no quest marker

Open the Writ quest and verify the customer’s name and the item. Some beta reports describe deliveries accepted through normal interaction despite a missing yellow question mark. Carry the actual Writ item, not only the crafted goods.

I have enough Favor but cannot buy a recipe

Open the vendor item and check its required standing and crafting skill. Favor alone is not proof of eligibility. Some mid- and high-level patterns require Friendly or Honored, and many require the appropriate profession skill to use.

I bought the same Writ twice and cannot hand it in again

Different orders can be completed in one day, but the same quest is not an unlimited repeat. Keep a small checklist of Writ names and avoid repurchasing an already completed order until the client allows it again.

Will the Legacy Performance Bonus talent increase reputation?

No direct reputation increase is described by the beta perk. Performance Bonus can improve Merchant’s Favor earned from eligible crate turn-ins. It is not a 5–15% reputation multiplier for Writs or Forged Delivery Receipts. Read our Legacy System Guide if you are deciding whether that currency perk is worth taking.

Supply Faction Reputation FAQ

Are Azeroth Commerce Authority and Durotar Supply and Logistics the same faction?

No. They are Alliance and Horde counterparts using similar mechanics and rewards. Your character works with its own faction; you do not need to earn both reputation tracks on one character.

How do you get from Neutral to Friendly?

At the bottom of Neutral, Friendly requires 3,000 reputation. The one-time Shipping Label awards a reported 2,000, leaving 1,000. That is at least 14 Journeyman Writs at 75 each, eight Expert Writs at 125 each or five Artisan Writs at 200 each, if you can actually accept and complete those orders at your level.

Can I buy Craftsman’s Writ items on the Auction House?

Yes. Recorded beta orders allow purchased finished goods. The ability to complete the Writ is separate from learning the profession used to make the item. Check the requested item, quantity and quest level first.

How much reputation does one Forged Delivery Receipt give?

The current effect is 50 base reputation for a notarized empty-crate return. The receipt costs 15 Merchant’s Favor in beta vendor data, plus the empty crate itself. You must reach Friendly to use that route.

Does every supply-faction reward require Exalted?

No. Friendly can unlock selected profession recipes, Honored opens Advertising License, Revered is listed for Packmule Treat, and Exalted opens tabards and the current Pack Kodo standing requirement. Buy only the reputation you need for your target.

Can I begin farming reputation before the November 4 launch?

The beta closed ahead of the announced November 4, 2026 launch. The routes and values here are based on the October beta data, not a promise of current beta access or guaranteed post-launch turn-in limits. Recheck the live client when the new realm becomes available.

Final recommendation: take the introductory 2,000 reputation, unlock Friendly with inexpensive nearby Writs, then compare higher-value daily orders with empty-crate receipts. Let the reward you actually want decide your final standing, and keep Merchant’s Favor for that vendor purchase rather than spending it all on reputation.
