The modern format — established during the 20th Anniversary — mixes curated encounters and nostalgia with practical progression. Blackrock Depths returns as a bite-sized raid-dungeon experience, Classic Timewalking queues pop all over the finder, and Korrak's Revenge reopens as the old-school Alterac Valley throwdown for big bursts of currency and achievements. If you prefer open-world targets, anniversary world bosses and event quests feed your token totals while letting you dip in for quick sessions. Vendors at the Caverns sell ensembles, toys, throwback Tier 2 Set appearances, pets, and more, while other kiosks handle PvP throwbacks and legacy looks. Grab the event quests at Caverns of Time, clear the BRD raid-dungeon once for a fat token burst, queue a Timewalking rota when it's up, and pick a Korrak's Revenge daily for reliable currency. Spend early on ensembles or a mount you'll use everywhere, then circle back for toys and pets as tokens pile up. Because last year's rewards are back in rotation — alongside new bits — you won't feel punished for missing a prior Anniversary, and you can finish sets at your own pace while that XP buff does work on your roster.
