How We Keep Your Account Safe During The Boost
Piloted play means an assigned player uses your account for the service. Account sharing is against Jagex’s rules, including when someone plays manually.
Requirements
Your account needs access to Wintertodt before the runs can begin.
- Active OSRS membership and at least level 50 Firemaking.
- Four pieces of warm clothing are recommended for maximum protection from the cold; they are not an entry requirement.
- An axe, knife, hammer and tinderbox or bruma torch. Basic tools are available from the crates inside Wintertodt.
Druidic Ritual is optional. Without it, Brew'ma can make rejuvenation potions for you. A player-owned house is only needed if you want Construction XP from repairing braziers.
Prepare For Wintertodt
If your Firemaking is below 50, choose Firemaking training through Power Leveling before ordering these kills. That training is a separate service and is not included in your Wintertodt order.
Kills And Points
KC counts completed Wintertodt fights, while points earned within each fight determine reward rolls. The service sells kills, rather than a fixed number of points or crates. At least 500 points in a successful round unlock two reward rolls; 1,000 points unlock three. Intermediate totals can give a chance at another roll, so two orders with the same KC can produce different amounts of loot.
Reward Cart Loot
Wintertodt rewards come from the Reward Cart near the camp bank. You can receive logs, ores, herbs, seeds, gems and fish, along with unique drops such as Pyromancer pieces, bruma torch, warm gloves, Tome of fire, burnt pages and Phoenix. The materials you receive also depend on your relevant skill levels. More kills provide more opportunities for rewards, but a fixed KC order does not guarantee a particular unique item or the pet.
XP Or Outfit?
Choose Wintertodt KC if you want a set number of fights with Firemaking XP and chances at rewards along the way. The XP earned depends on your Firemaking level and actions during the runs, so this is not a service to reach a specified level. If the full Pyromancer set is your main goal, choose the separate Pyromancer Outfit service instead of relying on drops within a fixed kill count.
Phoenix Pet
Phoenix is Wintertodt's skilling pet, awarded randomly when you search the Reward Cart. Its standard drop rate is 1 in 5,000 per reward roll, not per kill. Earning more rolls gives you more chances at the pet; at 200 million Firemaking XP, its drop rate is 15 times higher.
You can recolour Phoenix blue, green, purple or white with 250 gnomish firelighters of the matching colour. Each colour unlock is permanent, and you can switch between unlocked colours through Metamorphosis.
