Requirements
Check guild access before you choose your defender.
- Active OSRS membership.
- Warriors’ Guild access: Attack and Strength must total at least 130, or either skill must be 99.
- For Continue Progression, have the starting defender shown in your selected Current to Target option.
- For Extra Dragon Defenders, have the basement unlocked with Lorelai.
- Have combat equipment and supplies available. Tell support about any combat-level restrictions before the farm starts.
Before And After Your Defender
Full Farm, Upgrade Or Extra Copies?
Choose Full Progression if you have no defender. We work through the lower tiers and stop at the one you select. For example, a Dragon order includes the Bronze-to-Rune farm before we move to the basement.
Choose Continue Progression if you already own a defender and want a higher tier. Select your current and wanted tiers together, such as Rune → Dragon. Extra Dragon Defenders is for accounts that already have basement access and want more copies; choose a quantity from 1 to 10.
How Defender Farming Works
Guild activities such as Animated Armour award Warrior guild tokens, which pay for time in the cyclops rooms. Bronze through Rune drop upstairs as you progress through the tiers. Dragon drops only from the level 106 cyclopes in the basement, which Lorelai opens after you show her a Rune defender.
The drops are random, so reaching a particular kill count does not guarantee a defender. We farm the item in your order rather than sell a fixed number of cyclops kills. Once Lorelai has unlocked the basement, you can return without farming the lower defenders again.
Which Defender Can You Equip?
A defender uses the shield slot and adds melee accuracy. Steel and higher tiers also add melee Strength, so they pair well with a one-handed melee weapon. Check the equipment requirement for your build; qualifying for the Warriors’ Guild does not automatically let you equip every defender.

Dragon And Avernic Defenders
Dragon is the highest defender available from the Warriors’ Guild. To make an Avernic defender, you combine a Dragon defender with an Avernic defender hilt. Avernic requires 70 Attack and 70 Defence and gives higher melee attack bonuses and +8 melee Strength.
The hilt is a separate item and is not included in this farm. Cyclopes do not drop Avernic defenders. Reversing the upgrade returns the Dragon defender but destroys the hilt, so check your plans before you combine them.
