The Sporebearer Fungal Strider is not the first vendor mount in the game, but it is the first one that lets you choose exactly which NPCs will be on it. Players have access to four NPCs – two of which (Mail Courier and Repairs) come free with the mount, while the other two (Transmogrifier and Auctioneer) are purchased separately. The Sporebearer Fungal Strider boost allows you to get the required amount all at once to buy the mount and the optional NPCs, and a direct path to the vendor who sells the mount itself, available only until the end of the Midnight expansion.
How To Get Sporebearer Fungal Strider
Obtaining the Sporebearer Fungal Strider is a fairly simple and straightforward process, except for the fact that it is only available until the end of the Midnight expansion. So, to add the mount to your collection, you need to do the following steps:
- Accumulate 5,000,000 Gold; if you want to purchase all the NPCs for the mount at once, you will need another 2,000,000 Gold.
- With the Gold in your pocket, head to The Den in Harandar.
- Find the vendor Showena at /way #2576 61.80 67.73 and purchase the Sporebearer Fungal Strider.
As you can see, the hardest part of obtaining the mount is accumulating a sufficient amount of Gold.
Sporebearer Fungal Strider NPC Unlock
The Sporebearer Fungal Strider gives players the ability to place two useful NPCs out of four on it. Here they all are:
- Haranir Messenger (Mail Courier) — unlocked by default.
- Haranir Metalshaper (Repairs) — unlocked by default.
- Haranir Bloomshifter (Transmogrifier) — unlocked through Unlock Transmogrifier sold by Showena for 500,000 Gold.
- Haranir Tradebroker (Auctioneer) — unlocked through Unlock Auction House sold by Showena for 1,500,000 Gold.
Unlike the mount itself, the additional NPCs can be unlocked even after Midnight ends, from the same vendor, Showena.
