How to Get PvP Gear in WoW
To get PvP gear in WoW, you need to farm Honor or farm Conquest. The various PvP sets can be purchased from an appropriate PvP gear vendor. PvP gear sets dramatically increase their levels when you enter PvP game modes.
- Honor Gear scales to 331 ilvl
- Conquest Gear scales to 344 ilvl
As such, there is really only a point to collect Honor gear and Conquest gear. Honor gear is a lot easier to get (with our gearing boost anyway) than War Mode or crafted gear, so you want it early in the season. Conquest gear is the strongest and requires less work than upgrading crafted gear, so that’s what we recommend getting afterwards. You get a PvP set bonus if you collect the full sets. PvP tier sets are lookalikes of PvE gear too, so it’s useful for transmog hunters.
