Who Is Blacksmithing Leveling For?

Choose Blacksmithing if you want to make your character’s weapons and continue crafting as you progress:

• Gladiators: greatsword recipes.
• Templars: longsword recipes.
• Assassins: dagger recipes.
• Clerics: mace recipes.

The profession also makes off-hand Guards. If your goal is a bow or staff, choose Handicrafting instead. For armor pieces, choose Armorsmithing.

This boost suits players who want lasting access to weapon recipes but do not want to spend their free time leveling the craft. If you need just one tradable weapon, buying that finished item on the Marketplace may cost less than leveling a profession and making it yourself.

Novice or Professional: Choose Your Blacksmithing Levels

Novice and Professional each have levels 1–50. Select one rank and set your current and desired levels within it. For example, Novice 20–50 finishes your Novice training; it does not include Professional 1–50.

Novice begins with Orichalcum Ingots and equipment, followed by Expert’s and Artisan’s Orichalcum recipes. Professional adds Dragon Lord weapons, Guards, and processed Balaur horns.

These are profession levels, not character levels. Expert’s and Artisan’s in an equipment name describe the recipe’s output, not additional ranks sold by this service.

What Can You Craft with Blacksmithing?

Blacksmithing covers daggers, greatswords, longswords, maces, and off-hand Guards. The table shows Novice recipes and the first Dragon Lord equipment you can work toward in Professional.

Expert’s and Artisan’s Orichalcum versions also open during Novice training. Each recipe has its own level requirement; starting Professional does not unlock every recipe immediately. These examples describe crafting options, not finished weapons included in every leveling order.

How Do You Unlock Professional Blacksmithing?

After Novice 50, complete the Blacksmithing Specialty Skill upgrade quest. Elyos speak with Sindri in Verteron; Asmodians speak with Piriani in Altgard.

The test requires a Novice Blacksmith’s Hammer (Bound). One crafting attempt uses 6 Orichalcum Ingots and 3 Odyle for either faction. Completing the quest upgrades Blacksmithing to Professional.

Reaching Novice 50 and completing this quest are separate steps. More Novice crafting alone does not open the next rank.

Materials and Weapon Crafting Chains

Blacksmithing processes Orichalcum Ore into ingots and uses Refining Stones and Odyle for equipment. Professional recipes add materials such as Fine Thick Balaur Horn, Wrathful Mind, and Radiant Orichalcum Ore.

What does a basic longsword need?

One Orichalcum Longsword attempt takes 3 Orichalcum Ingots, 5 Refining Stones, and 2 Odyle. The basic ingot recipe processes 2 Orichalcum Ore with 1 Orichalcum Solvent (Bound). These are per-attempt recipes, not the total materials needed for a leveling order.

Why keep earlier crafted weapons?

Advanced recipes can consume an earlier weapon. For example, Artisan’s Orichalcum Longsword uses an Expert’s Splendent Orichalcum Longsword. True Dragon Lord Longsword and Star Dragon Lord Longsword both require an Artisan’s Splendent Orichalcum Longsword alongside their other materials.

Keep the earlier weapon if you intend to use it in the next recipe. Later succession crafts also consume existing gear: Wise Dragon Lord Longsword requires a Splendent White Dragon Lord Longsword.

Does a higher level guarantee a Splendent weapon?

No. A combo result can produce a Splendent version, but recipe access and the crafting outcome are different. Repeated attempts can use more materials than a single recipe shows.

Your blacksmith completes the crafts needed for the purchased profession levels. You keep the equipment and unused materials left afterward; items used as ingredients are consumed. A specific Dragon Lord weapon is a separate crafting goal, not a guaranteed reward from leveling.

Is Blacksmithing Worth Leveling for Kinah?

Blacksmithing lets you make weapons, Guards, and processed materials for your own use or for sale when those items are tradable. Profit depends on what buyers need and how much you spend making each item.

Before an expensive craft, compare the finished item’s Marketplace price with the full cost of ore, vendor supplies, Refining Stones, Odyle, and any earlier weapon consumed by the recipe. Allow for repeated attempts when you need a combo result. High sales prices alone do not mean high profit.

Leveling is most useful when you plan to craft regularly. It gives you access to recipes without the profession grind, but you still need materials for later crafts. Essence Extraction is a separate gathering skill; raising Blacksmithing does not automatically raise your gathering level.

Requirements and Piloted Delivery

What do you need for this service?

• An AION 2 character with Blacksmithing unlocked.
• Novice 50 before Professional leveling; progression into Professional also requires the specialty upgrade quest.
• Account access for the assigned blacksmith and approval of login authentication when prompted.

The service is Piloted on PC through Steam or PURPLE. Log out while your blacksmith works. Choose Stream if you want to watch the session, and we will notify you through your order chat when the purchased level is reached.

How long does Blacksmithing leveling take?

The estimated start is 1–2 hours after your character is ready and access is arranged. Estimated completion is about 1 day. The selected level range, materials, and server conditions can affect the schedule. Express and Priority is available as an extra.

If the service stops early, you keep the Blacksmithing progress and recipes already unlocked on your character.
