What Changed for Echo of Mephisto in Season 15?

Patch 3.2.1 increased the overall quality of Echo of Mephisto rewards and added a guaranteed Mythic drop. This guarantee applies to Mythic rarity; random chance still determines the item, slot, Greater Affixes, and rolls.

What Does the Crux of the False Prophet Do?

One Crux of the False Prophet opens one Mephisto’s Hoard after the boss dies. Starting the fight or failing an attempt does not consume the key; opening the reward chest consumes it. Our boost supplies one Crux for each chest unless your order states that you will provide the keys.

Boss Kill vs Mephisto’s Hoard

Defeating Echo of Mephisto and opening the Hoard are separate actions. A kill without a Crux gives boss-completion credit but cannot provide the Hoard’s guaranteed Mythic reward.
