Which Splinter of Evil Should You Choose?
Only one Prime Evil Splinter can be active at a time. Each path has one Iconic Power, eight activity modifiers, and six power upgrades. The active Splinter also makes your character more vulnerable to that same Prime Evil, so the best choice depends on the content you plan to farm.

The initial seasonal questline awards one Splinter choice. Additional Splinters come from the largest Waking Nightmares associated with Diablo, Baal, and Mephisto. Because the target item is a random drop, the service repeats the matching encounter until it appears. Activating the item changes the active Prime Evil path and opens its Iconic Power, reputation track, activity modifiers, and War Plans upgrades for progression.
