Tributes are consumable items used to start a run of the Kurast Undercity. They increase the challenge of the run by reducing your starting time, time bonuses, and potion drops, but in return, they guarantee specific high-value rewards if you finish with at least Attunement Rank 1. Higher-rarity Tributes offer better rewards but are also more difficult to complete. Here’s a full list:

• Magic Tributes
  • Tribute of Pride – Guarantees Legendary item drops.
  • Tribute of Mystique – Guarantees Magic Runes.
• Rare Tributes
  • Tribute of Titans – Rewards random Boss Summoning Items.
  • Tribute of Refinement – Rewards Masterworking Materials.
  • Tribute of Harmony – Guarantees Runes.
  • Tribute of Growth – Rewards bonus Experience Points (XP).
• Legendary Tributes
  • Tribute of Radiance – Guarantees Ancestral Legendaries.
• Unique Tributes
  • Tribute of Ascendance – Rewards several Uniques with an increased chance of a Mythic Unique.
• Mythic Tributes
  • Mythic Tribute of Armaments – Has an extremely high chance to reward at least one Mythic Unique. Considered the most valuable Tribute to use in Season 14.
  • Greater Tribute of the Horadrim – Used to farm Mythic Seals.

The Kurast Undercity is a time-attack dungeon introduced in the Vessel of Hatred expansion. Located beneath the city of Kurast in Nahantu, this activity sends you through three procedurally generated floors against a ticking clock.

You start each run with a set amount of time – usually 100 seconds, but Tributes can reduce this to as low as 45 seconds. To succeed, you must kill Afflicted Monsters and destroy Afflicted Structures marked with an orange hourglass icon to gain extra time. Activating Spirit Beacons and Grand Beacons spawns waves of enemies; defeating them increases your Attunement meter. The higher your Attunement Rank (up to 4) when you reach the boss, the better your rewards from the final chest.
