Defeating an Initiate Lair Boss is now just the first step—the real reward comes from opening the Hoard with a key, and each player must bring their own. These Initiate bosses also drop the keys needed for the next tier of encounters. To open Duriel‘s Hoard, you’ll need a Greater Lair Key, which drops from defeating lower-tier bosses like Grigoire or Varshan on Torment I or higher.
