Smelting Pants boost can be completed in one of two ways, depending on whether you’re willing to hand over your account to our players or prefer to use remote control software.

The requirements for obtaining the Smelting Pants are minimal.

- If you choose Piloted mode, we recommend you don’t log in before your boost is done.
Smelting Pants Boost Overview
Smelting Pants are leather leggings requiring level 16. Their profession benefit is useful when processing large batches of Copper, Tin, Bronze or Silver: equipping them reduces each supported smelting cast’s duration by a quarter.
Your character must be able to wear leather and know the relevant smelting recipes. The pants occupy your regular leg slot, so you can swap them in when smelting and put your combat gear back on afterward. They do not speed up every Mining recipe or grant extra bars.
How To Get Smelting Pants
Smelting Pants drop from Gilnid in The Deadmines.
- Enter The Deadmines through the Defias hideout in Moonbrook, Westfall.
- Reach the foundry area and defeat Gilnid.
- Loot Smelting Pants if they drop, or repeat the encounter on another run.
The pants bind when picked up. Farm them on the character who will use the smelting bonus, rather than on another character intending to mail them over.
