Choose Cooking Recipes by Their Food Buffs
The food you craft for skill points may not provide the best buff for your character. In the current Beta, Brilliant Smallfish grants 2 Attack Power, while Nightfin Soup grants 22 Spell Damage and requires character level 35 to eat.
Both foods require at least 10 seconds of eating to grant their 15-minute Well Fed buff, which also increases experience from kills by 5%. Choose food your character can use and whose stat bonus helps your build. Do not assume every meal has the same effect or that the experience bonus applies to quest rewards.
