Why Valigarmanda Is Painful to Farm

This encounter is not a huge prog wall when you have BiS gear, but farming it with PF is another story. Valigarmanda keeps the whole party busy with role-based debuffs, partner positions, and mechanics that overlap instead of resolving one at a time. The community called the sequence after Mountain Fire one of the places where groups kept losing healers, while others still described the Lightning phase and Spikesicle movement as messy even after reaching enrage. One bad position can turn a farm where Valigarmanda has only a few % HP left into a wipe and reset, which matters a lot when you are on the road to 99 totems.

Wings of Ruin Is Required for Wings of Legacy

Since the final Dawntrail Extreme wings mount was added in Patch 7.5, Wings of Ruin has become part of the expansion’s full Extreme mount grind. You need all seven Dawntrail wings from Worqor Lar Dor, Everkeep, Sphene’s Burden, Recollection, Necron’s Embrace, Hell on Rails, and The Unmaking before you can complete The Wing Spirit Cometh and receive Wings of Legacy. If Wings of Ruin is still missing from your collection, Valigarmanda is the one who stops you before you can get the Dawntrail super mount.
