FFXIV Extreme Trials Boost

This is the current FFXIV Extreme Trials list for Dawntrail. Seven Extreme fights are tied to seven Wings, and all seven are required before The Wing Spirit Cometh can award Wings of Legacy.

If some Wings are already registered, use the Wings of Legacy custom farm for the ones still missing. As of Patch 7.55, Wings of Mist can be exchanged for 99 Runaway Totems. Wings of Nihility is still direct-drop only in the official 7.55 notes.

On FF14 Extreme Trials, a mount drop is random. It can appear early or take many clears, and in a normal Party Finder group you still have to win the loot roll when it drops.

The 99-totem route removes that RNG only after Square Enix adds the mount to the matching vendor exchange. For example, Wings of Mist can now be bought for 99 Runaway Totems, while Wings of Nihility still has no 99-totem exchange in Patch 7.55.

Before ordering a totem farm, check how many matching totems are already on the character and whether the exchange is live for that mount. There is no useful universal mount drop-rate number to use here because Square Enix does not publish one and later patches can raise drop rates.

Each expansion capstone uses a fixed set of Extreme Trial rewards. The capstone itself is a quest reward, not an extra random drop.

For FFXIV Heavensward Extreme Trials, the Firebird product includes a custom Lanner farm and an option to unlock the required Extreme fights. If you still need Heavensward Extreme Trials unlocks, check that option before ordering the full set.

For FFXIV Shadowbringers Extreme Trials, use the Gwiber service for individual mounts or Landerwaffe for the full seven-Gwiber set. Memoria Misera does not count toward Landerwaffe. For mounts outside Extreme Trial sets, see other FFXIV mount services.

Current Dawntrail FFXIV Extreme Trials are level 100 fights with their current mechanics and unlock requirements.

Previous-expansion FF14 Extreme Trials can often be farmed unsynced. Higher level and gear shorten many of those runs, but old FF14 Extremes should not automatically be treated as solo content because some mechanics still matter.

Unreal is separate. Shinryu's Domain (Unreal) is tied to weekly Faux Hollows and does not count toward the expansion Extreme collections. Use the Shinryu's Domain Unreal service for that route.

Windward Wilds (Extreme) is also separate. It is Monster Hunter collaboration content and does not count toward Wings of Legacy.

One successful clear does not finish a farm. The group has to keep clearing long enough to reach the run count, weapon, totems, or mount you need.

The problems players keep describing are simple: farm groups wipe and lose members, replacements take time, someone leaves after getting their own reward, and a mount can finally drop only for another player to win the roll. Practice parties also have a different purpose from farm parties, so a player who still needs to learn the fight may spend time in prog before repeated clears even start.

This is why one FFXIV Extreme Trial clear and a full reward farm should stay as separate order types.

Only a few details change the order:

• the FFXIV Extreme Trial or collection you need;
• whether you need a clear, runs, weapon, mount, totems, or capstone;
• matching totems already on the character;
• required collection rewards already registered;
• Trial and MSQ unlock status;
• job and gear for current Dawntrail Extremes.

Five registered Dawntrail Wings means two are missing, not seven. A character already close to 99 totems may need only the remaining farm if that mount's vendor exchange is live. The same logic applies to Heavensward Extreme Trials unlocks and other previous-expansion sets: check what is already open before adding an unlock option.

The selected product defines the finish point.

• One clear: the chosen Extreme Trial is completed once.
• Run package: the selected number of clears is completed.
• Weapon order: the weapon result listed on that product is reached.
• Mount order: the target mount is obtained under the conditions listed on that product.
• 99-totem route: the required totems are farmed and exchanged when that vendor option is live and included.
• Collection order: the selected missing rewards are obtained, with the capstone quest included only when the product says so.

A normal clear is not a guaranteed weapon or mount unless that result is included in the selected option. Piloted orders require account access. Square Enix prohibits account sharing and may take disciplinary action; a VPN, manual play, or private stream does not remove that policy risk.
